The Salvation Army Southern Africa Territory proudly joins with the International Salvation Army in extending heartfelt congratulations to South African-born officers, Commissioners Garth and Patti Niemand, on their historic appointment as Chief of Staff and World Secretary for Women’s Ministry respectively.

This is a moment of immense pride for our Territory and for South Africa. We celebrate God’s faithfulness in raising and preparing the Niemands for such significant global leadership.

As they assume these executive appointments in October we commit to uphold them in sustained prayer, asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, strength, and anointing for the work ahead. May their service continue to advance the mission of The Salvation Army across the world.
