1 Corinthians 15:33
[33]Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.

The word is clear, bad associations corrupt good manners. Evil company corrupt good manners, wether be a sibling or a colleague even a parents. One thing is certain your siblings or relatives do not become godly because they are related to you by blood. People get corrupted because they suppose you have to be a friend with unbelievers to be corrupted. You get corrupted every time you open yourself to a strange to the kingdom. It may be two minutes or hours or days if it's a colleague or siblings. A man shall leave his father and mothers advice and cling to his wife. to hold firm to a holy union and a godly house.

A man's enemy will be those of his household. If you knew that, that many turn against the truth as the result of internal persuasions and family pressure. You come to talk about false prophets on social media but you fail to stand for the truth, when family questioned you and advised you against the truth. Let me ask you. Can they openly embrace the truth as you are? Can they accept it? Yet you say, 'but they are my siblings or colleagues.' What fellowship is there between light and darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Explain to me why you are not as burning as before, except the fleshly mind that says you are matured now. But why are you so lustful? What happened to the rich warmth of the presence of God that used to surround you?

The danger of the spirit of the people we open our lives to by conversing deeply with people of shady characters who refuse Jesus in their life. Conversing is fellowship. The Holy Spirit is a jealous Spirit.

It sounds somehow, but it's true. Colleagues, siblings, or even lukewarm Christians. Steals from us, such things we hardly pay attention to.

When a man of God preaches about it, people say he seeks to create conflict, they hardly accept it as reality, as if a true servant of God speaks from his mind, yet we cannot explain why, after conversing with them, all the lust of the flesh is awake, as if our light has been dimmed.

Psalm 1:1 says, 'Blessed is the man who walks not by the advice of ungodly people.' If your brother is ungodly or your sister is not a believer, including Christians who participate in worldly events such as cultural events and world parties, whether it's a work function or whatever, watch the time you spend talking with them, even over the phone. I didn't say hate them or see them as enemies, but know they carry a spirit in them that can corrupt the light shining in you.

Proverbs 29:23
A man's pride will bring him low, but he who is of a humble spirit will obtain honor.'

Before destruction comes pride, but with humility comes honor!!

Once prayer and reading the word are neglected, a leader will claim to have attained a higher spiritual revelation. They will say things that seem to suggest they do not need to constantly read the word or pray every day. From such run.

Once we lose the light, pride sneaks in, and we start to lose the basics of Christianity. I always wonder why a man believes prayer is not a daily devotion, whereas there are things he does daily that have no benefits for his spiritual welfare.

Prayer brings that warm, rich presence of God, which breaks every hard thing about or in us. Every time we taste such rich experiences, it molds us. Yes, we hardly notice the molding because it's such a lovely experience that one can never be used to it since it's so unique every time. It's such exposure that makes each one of us humble. It's not out of the nobility of our hearts. It makes me even wonder why, out of all people, a leader would underplay the importance of prayer. Unless, of course, he lost the way of the truth. I mean, who can even encourage against such experiences? No words can ever truly define the moments of worship we experience in our private space of prayer.

It makes so much sense now why Jesus said, 'Go to your room, shut the door, and pray to the Father who sees in secret' (Matthew 6:6).

In Acts 6, Peter said, 'We cannot, I repeat, we can not neglect prayer and the word.'!! Keep the fire burning. Do not rob yourself. The year or years should never mean anything to you. You live in the day of the Lord, and you live for Him, and He can do for you what takes years in a day.

Part 1

Greetings, Mercy and Peace be upon us in Christ Jesus, our Lord and God, in righteousness.

First, allow me to thank you for continuing to come for fellowship. This isn't loyalty to men, but to the Lord.

Last Sunday and Wednesday, we spoke at length on the subject of mind renewal. Paul said, 'I want to remind you, brethren, of the gospel I preached to you.' (1 Corinthians 15:1)

I find that sometimes, people become slagesh in some areas because they lack a reminder, which serves two crucial aspects that keep us afloat in the knowledge of God. When we are reminded, the matter gets to be affirmed in us... what do I mean? Jesus said, 'I have many things to tell..., but when the Spirit comes, He will remind you of what I taught you.' (John 16:13) Why?

To ensure that the light that lives in us through knowledge remains shining. I have seen many losing hope while praying because they lost the reality by not being reminded. The light remains in a man as long as he is firm to the truth.

Remember, Paul said, 'Even if our gospel is hidden, it is only hidden to those who are perishing, whose minds are darkened by the god of this world, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine in them.' (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

When we preach the undiluted word, a word not twisted or decorated by eloquence in the hope of enhancing its enjoyment, only that message will fights th lying schemes of the devil that seek to keep people from knowing the truth. Satan always seeks to prevent people from knowing the truth and those who know it to lose its relevance.

After people have been enlightened in the knowledge of God, they require constant feeding on green pastures and still waters. If leaders can prioritize the importance of teaching a clean message, they would never neglect prayer and reading of the word.

Never neglect the process of mind renewal.

Part 2:

A heart that loves money can never practice meditation on God's word. Hence, those who love money have unrenewed minds and always struggle spiritually. I'm not saying one mustn't have money, but I must not love money.

We can't help but keep pondering upon what we believe in and what we believe, be it the word of God, which is the gospel, or be it money. But if we are passive toward the word, forget it. Our mind can not meditate upon it.

Nothing dims our light like an unrenewed mind. It doesn't end there; the unrenewed mind is so selfish because it reflects the old man, not the new creature in Christ. It wants to be seen and heard in order to dim the light of others through spreading unbelief. Unbelief is a spirit that functions through unrenewed minds in the lives of many who have the form of godliness. Remember, the Scripture says, "They have a form of godliness, yet deny the power thereof."

Once an unrenewed mind ministers to you, your prayer life dries up immediately - no more power only idle words, full of noise. Moreover, your dream ministry gets choked up, and suddenly, there are evil dreams. And the ministry of giving goes away. We sin through an unrenewed mind, remember, an unrenewed mind is the mind of the old man that lives with a DNA that is open to sin. Christians with unrenewed minds don't give, don't tithe, and some don't even believe in tithing.

Why do we still have leaders teaching against tithing? Look at them, see if you'll find this fruit of the Spirit: love towards fellow ministers, being quiet and minding their own business, able to say anything good about others, and being healthy in their bodies.

What's so worse about an unrenewed mind is that it is the spirit that contaminates others in the process. Keeping company with Christians who suffer from unbelief leads to spiritual stagnation. Mind renewal keeps us afloat in the knowledge of the living God.

Never neglect the process of mind renewal.

21/12/2025

Part 1:

The Spirit world is only enjoyed by those whose minds are constantly being subjected to mind renewal, which is why Jesus Christ came - to make that possible. Mind renewal is a vast spiritual process that includes many other exercises, like declaration and meditation. The mind meditates mostly on what a person's heart believes in. And whatever dominates the mind eventually comes out of the mouth.

People will say, "I used to be fervent in the Spirit," or "God used to move mightily in me," but the burning question is, what happened? No man can ever see and perceive the things of the Spirit as reality until the mind goes through the process of renewal through the word. Those whose minds are renewed don't struggle with unbelief. Mind renewal and fasting suppress unbelief, which then allows our faith to flourish. It sounds simple and well because it is?

The Scripture says, "For the command I give you today is not difficult, but easy." It says, 'Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up to heaven?' or 'Who will descend to hell to bring Christ up.'" But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your heart and mind." To do what? To meditate.

First, He says, "Do not say in your heart." Wrong meditation creates unbelief - a spirit that makes faith struggle to bring to maturity the fruits of righteousness. But then He says, "The word is near you, child of God, even right inside your heart, and it fills your mouth."

Meditation is a spiritual process that brings the fine details inside the heart of a believer, yet very few of us practice this. This is the process of mind renewal when our hearts are so engaged in the word of God. If we do not meditate in the word, we can not say we are one with the word. When we truly believe in the word, we meditate upon it day and night.

Remember, Jesus said, "You can not believe in two masters; you love one and hate the other." So, we can not love money and God.

JOHN

Part 2

Though John is part of the prophets, and his ministry is counted among them because he carried the same message as thiers, it is worth noting that his ministry is prophesied in the prophets. This is significant because all other prophets' ministries are not mentioned in the actual prophecies. His however ministry is mentioned a couple of times.

The Pharisees and Sadducees sent priests and Levites to conduct an inquiry about John near the Jordan since they had no idea who he was and why he came. He said, "i am not the Christ", which is true, he is not! Again John said "I am not the Prophet" though he was a Prophet but he replied in the words of the Prophet Isaiah, which better explain who he was and why he came. He said, "I am the voice of one crying aloud in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord." John1:22-23

Even after he said this, they remained blinded to who he was, which decided the fate of the Pharisees in regard to the kingdom. Again after saying that John tell of why he came " ...I did not know him,... but I came baptizing that he may be revealed to Isreal..."

This may not look so, but notice Jesus when he later asked them about John and his ministry. When they asked Jesus about his authority, which made them stumble, Jesus said, "Then I will not tell you about my authority." The Pharisees thought John was dealt with since he was beheaded, yet that was the earthly report. Yet on this important day of inquiring about Jesus's authority, not knowing that failing to properly address John and his ministry would be a stumble block, which proved to be far more than what they initially thought.

Greetings, my name is Prophet Vuyo M, leader at Living Letters Ministries, Katlehong.

God's blessings and divine grace from Jesus Christ our Lord.

I love it when Jesus began to explain the kind of man John the Baptist was and his ministry to the crowds. Because it is necessary to understand him who he was, why He came. Let's read

Luke 7:24
[24]And the messengers of John having departed, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: What did you go out into the desert to gaze on? A reed shaken and swayed by the wind?

Jesus began by posing a question to them on why they went to the desert.I mean people don't usually go to the desert but this He asked intentionally, showing the glory of John's ministry that pulled crowds from Jerusalem and all the surrounding cities and villages to the desert.

The Scripture paints a picture of a great conviction that came as a result of the revival that hit the land through the ministry of John, as it is written, "Then people from Jerusalem, all Judea, and the whole region around the Jordan went out to him [John]. And they were baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins." Mathew3:5-6

Are we seeing that?
