Victory Over Spiritual Warfare!



"For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ." - 2 Corinthians 4:6

You can’t travel far in this world without realizing that we live in spiritual warfare. As Ephesians 6:12 tells us, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Today, we meet a man from Laos who understands this truth—and has experienced victory in the name of Jesus Christ. He tells us:

“Before I became a Christian, I was a Buddhist, as that was the faith of my ancestors. I had many different experiences, such as being the person who summons the main spirit. Whenever I did that, I became sick for no real reason. I ended up in many hospitals, but no one could figure out what my disease was. I asked for help from my co-spirit medium, but he couldn’t help either."

“One day an evangelist came and told the story of Jesus Christ, that Jesus is the Savior and saves people from sin. He asked if anyone wanted to be free from sin. My life was in darkness and great distress. So I decided to believe in Jesus Christ. So now as I am studying the Bible Correspondence Course, it is as if someone is leading me out of darkness into the Light—and away from the strength of the spirits and Satan."

“Now I am in Jesus Christ and my sickness is gradually disappearing. May God bless you who pray and support these efforts that introduced me to Jesus!”

Jesus promised that He would have the victory over darkness. In fact, in John 16:33, He said, “in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus will have victory over our darkness. Trust Him for every battle.

Thank You, Father, that in Christ Jesus the spiritual war has been won and we can know victory in Him—even over spiritual darkness. Help us to choose to follow You in every battle. Amen.

Persistence—Holding Fast To Your Confession of Faith (Devotion)

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:22-23 KJV)

My brothers and sisters, you may be going through hell right now. The fact of the matter is you must accept the reality that God the Father, creator of Heaven and earth, is trying to mold you and transform you. God wants to change you into what He has declared as His purpose for your life, and that which He spoke about in His written Word. That Word says: You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loves you (see Romans 8:37). You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (see Rom. 3:22). Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (see 1 John 4:4). You have the power to tread upon serpents and scrorpions and over all the power of the enemy (see Luke 10:19). No weapon formed against you shall prosper (see Isa. 54:17). You really are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the rich and not the poor (see Deut. 28: 12-13).

You, my brothers and sisters, are indeed what God’s Word says you are. You are to appropriate what the Word says you are and what the Word says you have. It involves more than just “believing and receiving!”

You’ve got to be able to persist and move forward in the will of God for your life. Your persistence must continue even when everything seems to be falling apart and when it looks like nothing is turning out right. Stop whining. Learn to stand up under pressure. Set the vision of God before you like a flint and move forward full speed ahead with the plan of God. I don’t care how many times the lights get cut off. I don’t care how many times the water and heat are turned off. I don’t care how many times the rent is overdue. I don’t care if you don’t have a car and have to use the bus to get from point A to point B. I don’t care if you have to eat red beans and rice three days a week just to survive. Forget the dumb stuff!

I know how difficult it to stand after falling. I lost my dear daughter and my grandson in Sept 2015. It felt like I was in deep darkness. For some reason I use to hear sounds of darkness as if the darkness was saying `` do you think you will be able to stand after all this mess.``
A day after, I asked God to teach me how to dance in the mist of darkness, in the mist of pain and how to dance in the mess. I looked back at that darkness and I told darkness that you know what after I have done it all ( I`ve cried, asked questions, prayed or grumbled etc.) looked at me standing up again after I have done it all I am still standing and it is written in Ephesians 6 v 13-14.

Devotion 2017
In order for favor to function, it takes TIME. Favor needs a Place, a Posture and Practice. When favor is on your life it takes time for you to feel the effects.
Don't miss the good moments in your life! Good times and bad times often live on the same street. You don't have to stay on the block of bad times, just move down the street and the good times will meet you. (Genesis 45:1-7) Some people don't realize what is protecting them, they are too worried about what is threatening them. When favor is on your life, you are protected. Trust the timing, it's a form of protection.
If God put you in the Position, then nothing else matters. Favor opens doors that no man can shut. Favor causes things to happen in your life that you will not understand, but it's good for you. Keep in mind there is a prerequisite of favor: TRUST! There has to be something about YOU that God can TRUST.
Does your FAVOR have FUNCTION? Absolutely! God favored you before you were positioned.
In order for favor to reveal itself, it must find its Place in your life. There is a sweet place for favor, don't position it out of your life focusing on the bad.
There is a Posture in order for favor to operate. Clothe yourself in the Posture of prayer and humility. Don't find yourself guilty of misusing favor and becoming boastful. The blessings of favor is not about you, but you blessing others.
Are you belittling where you are to get where you are going? It is in the PRACTICE that God develops the character. Your practice can't be one that belittles people due to your favor. Learn how to shape your thinking and ultimately your character into one that encourages, motivates and challenges others around you. Don't ask for favor if your practice is flawed. God has a unique Position for you when you are in the Right Place, with the right Posture and the right Practice!

Many times we get so wrapped up in achieving our life’s goal that we miss the opportunity to stop and be thankful for the things we have already achieved.
When working diligently to complete a race we often stay focused on the finish line.
While determination is critical in achieving anything, I challenge you to slow down the pace every now and then, look back at the ground you have covered and applaud yourself for making it thus far.
Give God the praise even when the goal seems only a distant blur.

Your Light is Come
God is granting you open access in this season! The doors that He opens, no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.
He knows your works, and he knows that you have little strength, yet you have kept His word and have not denied His name.
Hold on to what you have, be a good steward, you are an overcomer, you are victorious! Revelation 3:7-11

Make Right Connections
Your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. God has already arranged for certain people to come along side of you and speak faith into you. He has already placed in your path people who will inspire you, challenge you, and help you accomplish your dreams. But some people never reach their highest potential because they never get away from the wrong people.

Recognize today that not everyone can go where God is taking you. You’ve got to connect with people who understand your destiny and can call forth your seeds of greatness. You don’t have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or who refuse to give you their approval no matter how hard you try. Life is too short to drag people along. If you will get the wrong people out of your life, then God will help you make the right connections so you can fulfill the destiny He has in store for you.

“Father, thank You for placing godly people in my life. Help me to discern the right connections You have for me. Give me strength to release the wrong relationships so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect with me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
