*WHERE IS MY SISTER? BEHIND THE PRISON WALLS*

As we continue our *TOC Women’s Month journey of Sisterhood,* this week we turn our hearts towards our sisters in prison.

They may be behind walls, but they are not forgotten. Some are mothers who even have their little children with them in prison. They need our prayers, our compassion, and the reminder that they still matter.

And then, let us turn our prayers into action.

Female offenders will be celebrating *Women’s Day on 25 August 2026,* and we have an opportunity to make the day special by preparing *Love Packs* for our sisters.

*May our Local WM Church Leaders collect and prepare Love Packs containing:*

🧴 Vaseline
🧼 Face soap
🧽 Face cloth
🌸 Underarm/deodorant
🪥 Toothbrush
🦷 Toothpaste
🩷 Sanitary pads, optional

*Love Packs will then be handed over to the WM District Leaders for coordination and onward delivery.*

The Ebenezer District ACS Federation expresses its deepest gratitude to God for a remarkable and spiritually enriching ACS District Revival held on 8 August 2026 at Mabopane Sports Centre.
What was envisioned as a district ACS revival became a powerful demonstration of the commitment of God's people to revive, equip, empower and prepare themselves for meaningful Christian service in a rapidly changing society.
The day's theme, “ACS Challenges in a Changing Society: How to Face Them, & Service the Communities,” was both timely and practical.
Society is changing rapidly. Communities are confronted by unemployment, poverty, family challenges, substance abuse, social isolation, economic pressure, changing family structures, disaster situations and numerous other realities.
The revival challenged ACS not merely to observe these challenges, but to ask:
“How can the Church respond?”
ACS was reminded that Christian service must move beyond maintaining programmes to understanding people, identifying genuine needs and developing practical responses that bring hope, dignity and restoration.
The impressive attendance at Mabopane Sports Centre was one of the outstanding features of the day. The packed venue demonstrated that ACS is alive, relevant and needed.
Members came together not simply to attend another church programme, but to be revived for service. The gathering created an atmosphere of fellowship, learning, spiritual reflection and renewed commitment.
The attendance also provided evidence that there is a growing desire among God's people to understand the ministry of ACS and its role in meeting the needs of communities.
Appreciation to All Who Attended
The Ebenezer District ACS Federation extends heartfelt appreciation to:
All ACS leaders and members;
District leadership;
Pastors and church leaders;
The guest speaker;
TOC ACS leadership;
All participating churches;
Volunteers and organisers;
Those responsible for logistics and coordination;
And every individual who travelled to Mabopane Sports Centre to participate.
Your presence made the revival possible. Your participation made it meaningful. Your commitment will make the difference in the communities we serve.

The Ebenezer ACS District Revival has reminded us that Adventist Community Services is not simply an activity of the Church—it is an expression of the Church's mission.
*Our communities are changing.
*Their challenges are changing.
*Their expectations are changing.
Therefore, our methods of service must also become more intentional, relevant and responsive—without changing the Christ who remains at the centre of our ministry.
Let the experience of this revival become a catalyst for renewed ACS activity throughout the Ebenezer District.
And as the programme's powerful call reminds us: “JESUS IS CALLING. WILL YOU GO?” The Ebenezer District ACS Federation and Members say: “YES, LORD. WE WILL GO!” To God alone be the glory!

WHERE IS MY SISTER?

On this Women’s Day, as we have been thinking about and praying for our missing sister, may we take the next step and intentionally reach out to her.
A prayer.
A phone call.
A message.
A visit.
Whatever it takes to remind her:

You are remembered. You are loved. You belong.

May today be the day we don’t just think about her, but reach her.
