LET'S PRAY:

This morning I lift my eyes to the Lord where our help comes from and pray for you. The God who created heaven and earth has delivered you from an evil spirit that has been tormenting you, in Jesus'mighty name.

The evil chains that has tied me to the shrine or charm are broken. They are falling off. The cage in which I have been locked, the snake scales that covers my face, that animal face they have put on me, - burn with fire, in Jesus'mighty name. I command them to fall off my body and soul. I further command that sorcerer holding my life, that ritual and spell performed against. me powerless, now in Jesus' mighty name. I divert that evil impepo bamposela away from me to the sea, by the power of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus' mighty name. That charm, that spell, that evil shrine that monitors my life to torment me, and that evil eye watching me, be destroyed by the Holy Ghost Fire, in Jesus' mighty name I pray.

Thank You Jesus for giving me authority and power to cast out demons (Matthew 10:1, Luke 10:19).

The Lord God is with me. I will not be afraid. Instead, I am strong and courageous. God is fighting for me. That giant python, that serpent spirit, and the spirit and energy from the grave that is tormenting me - I uproot from my life and destroy their mighty strength and attacks designed against me, in Jesus' mighty name (Exodus 3:7-8, 14:14, Deuteronnmy 31:6,8). You are blessed. Amen. Thank You Lord Jesus.

WORD FOR THE WEEKEND

LUKE 14:22b-23.. sir, but there is room for more.’ [23] So the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the country roads and lanes and make people come in, so that my house will be full.

- God’s desire is for many to come into His
kingdom. He wants everyone to be saved.
- That’s why He commands us to go and
tell people about His kingdom.
- He has given us authority and power to
persuade and compel people to repent.
- Let’s go out and bring people to church.
It’s our responsibility.
- Let's invite many people to the Lord's
table. We must make the church full.
God's kingdom needs to be full.

WORD FOR TODAY

EPHESIANS 4:16.. from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

As born again Christians, we are joined together in Christ and each one of us plays a pivotal role in this bond. Your participation and contributions should therefore, result in building up fellow believers and your local church.

You must work diligently to build up others and strengthen the church.

And when your pastor teaches or preaches, take the message seriously and put it into practice every week. Don’t just be a listener. Be a doer of what you learn every Sunday.(James 1:22). That’s what God expects from you.

THE FAITHFUL PASTOR: WAITING FOR GOD’S MORNING

The Call Is a Grace
Being a pastor is a gracious, noble, and trustworthy occupation. It is a gift from above — Ephesians 4:11. God calls men and women into ministry and He qualifies those He calls — 2 Corinthians 3:5-6. This is indeed something special. You did not choose this burden; God chose you.

The Struggle Is Real
However, staying a pastor and serving for a long time without much visible fruit can be painful and frustrating. It is devastating to pastor a church for years without seeing much growth.

Every pastor steps into ministry with expectations. We believe the ministry will blossom quickly. We believe God for breakthrough after breakthrough. So we put in everything: deep prayer, surrendered will, all kinds of fasting, our strength, knowledge, money, and time. We do this because we are certain the church will grow soon.

What we don’t initially understand is that church growth often takes longer than we first think. This is a reality every pastor must accept.

God’s Process Before His Progress
It is not automatic that when you are called, anointed, and gifted, the church will grow rapidly. Sometimes God must break us further to kill pride before success can come — Isaiah 57:15. At other times, God must ground us deeply in Him before major progress in ministry can take place — Colossians 2:7.

God determines how much growth each pastor can handle at a time. You just have to trust Him. He is faithful — 1 Corinthians 10:13.

The Danger of Losing Heart
Because human beings, including pastors, are not privy to what the future holds in ministry, many lose hope after years of struggle. Some grow tired. Others lose focus and drop off. They give up. They close the church. They become bitter toward their members. Some shift their energy toward money-making activities at the expense of the church.

The Hope That Holds Us
But the good news is this: there are those who stay firm, focused, determined, and hopeful, knowing that if they continue in faithfulness, humility, and obedience, God will lift them higher — 1 Peter 5:6.

So, if your church has not been growing, if you are struggling financially, and if your faith is slowly diminishing, wait a minute. God is on your side. Trust Him. He has not given up on you. Psalm 30:5 says, _“Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”_ Your church will grow. Keep doing what is right — Galatians 6:9 _“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”_

Hold on, pastor. Morning is coming.

THE PAIN OF LIFE AND THE HOPE IT CARRIES

Be Strong. Have Faith.

Today, life may be difficult. You may be struggling to achieve your goals. Your job may bring in little money, and your business may not be doing well right now. You may be struggling with your health. It may be that you have not found someone to marry. Your family may be going through a rough time right now.

But I want you to know that with your perseverance, focus, intelligent hard work, and the fear of the Lord, God will carry you through. He is making a way out for you. Like a farmer struggling and sweating as he plants his seeds, waiting patiently for them to germinate and bear fruit, your efforts too shall bring you fruit in season.

Have faith. Keep pushing. It will be alright someday soon. You will laugh again very soon. Shalom. Apostle Gilbert Mwenya

TRUTH BE TOLD

Today I stand with Black South Africans in their fight for social justice, a political response, and economic freedom. Their call is a genuine plea for socio-economic emancipation.

Life for most South Africans is tough. Unemployment and crime are at an all-time high. People are tired of waiting. Their fight to own the means of production and participate in the economy equitably is legitimate. Something legal, just, and right needs to happen. Change must come soon.

However, to take to the streets beating foreigners and those suspected to be foreigners, destroying and looting property suspected to belong to foreign nationals, defeats the purpose of the protest. It takes the country backward. We must refrain from such actions.

The focus must be on finding practical and immediate solutions to the genuine concerns of Black South Africans. To start blaming the people for making a genuine plea is unfair to them. It denies them the justice they need.

As believers in Christ, our responsibility is to pray, demonstrate the love of God, and encourage peace and unity of purpose. We are to stand against social injustice, crime, and all illegal practices. Christians must engage the government of the day and help find tangible, workable solutions.

With God on our side, we can overcome, and live together in peace. I love you all. Shalom.
