Today, faith put on overalls and picked up paint brushes.

The Young Men's Guild of Central District 0900 is living out its Mission Outreach through service, fellowship, and love in action at Chiedza Foster Home.

As brushes move across walls and hands work together to restore and beautify this home, we are reminded that the Gospel is not only preached—it is demonstrated. Every stroke of paint is an expression of care, every act of service a reflection of Christ's love for His people.

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." — Matthew 25:40

Our Mission Outreach is about more than painting a building. It is about bringing hope, restoring dignity, strengthening community, and reminding these precious children that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Today, we gather not simply as workers, but as servants of Christ. We thank God for every brother who answered the call, every prayer offered, and every hand that contributes to this labour of love.

The paint will dry, but the impact of kindness, fellowship, and faithful service will remain for years to come.

We are not merely maintaining walls; we are building bridges of compassion and crossing over to where ministry is needed most.

One Heart. One Way. One Mission.

🚨 TOMORROW: CENTRAL DISTRICT 0900 MISSION OUTREACH 🚨

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." — James 1:27
Tomorrow, we do more than visit a foster home—we become the hands and feet of Christ.

As the Young Men's Guild of Central District 0900, we answer the call to serve, to restore, and to bring hope where it is needed most. Every brushstroke, every act of kindness, every prayer offered is a testimony that God's love is alive and active through His people.

"Turning the Corner – The Other Side Awaits."
The other side awaits a church that does not merely speak about love but demonstrates it through action. A church that crosses over, just as Christ crossed over to meet those in need (Mark 4:35–41; 5:1).

A Clarion Call to the Church from the President!

As we gather in Bizana, we hear the Spirit of God calling us beyond comfort, beyond routine, and beyond the familiar shores of yesterday.

The call to Bizana is more than an invitation to an event—it is a call to a crossing.

The theme before us is clear:
"We Are Not Maintaining Shorelines, We Are Guiding Crossings."

In Mark 4:35, Jesus said, "Let us go over to the other side." He did not call His disciples to remain on the shoreline, but to move into God's purpose. The storm they encountered was not a sign to turn back, but an opportunity to trust the One who commanded the crossing.

As the people of God, we are not called merely to maintain shorelines of comfort, tradition, and familiarity. We are called to guide crossings—leading people from fear to faith, from isolation to community, and from brokenness to wholeness in Christ.

The miracle awaiting us is often on the other side. As Jesus crossed over and transformed lives (Mark 5:1), so too are we called to cross into new opportunities for ministry, mission, and discipleship.

Church of God, the call has been sounded. Let us rise together and answer:

"We are not maintaining shorelines; we are guiding crossings."

Where Compassion Meets Action:

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18

As part of the Church Mission Week, the Central District YMG, through our DDSR Desk under the stewardship of Brother Tshepiso Mmusi, visited the Khunwana Circuit to extend a helping hand to families affected by a devastating fire that destroyed their homes.
In responding to the needs of the community, school uniforms and shoes were donated to children whose education and daily lives were disrupted by this tragedy.

Mission is not merely spoken from the pulpit; it is lived through acts of compassion, service, and sacrifice. True mission is faith in action—meeting people at their point of need and becoming instruments of God's love in practical ways.

We are grateful to all YMG members and partners who supported this initiative. May this serve as a reminder that the Church is at its strongest when it moves beyond words and becomes the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

"Men of prayer are men of power."

As we gather for the 4th Inkanyamba Setsokotsane Service Prayer, we are reminded that every great movement begins on its knees. Before strategies, before programmes, before conventions—there is prayer.

Let us unite as brothers across the Connexion, seeking God's guidance, strength, and wisdom as we journey on the road ahead. May this sacred gathering ignite our hearts, strengthen our fellowship, and renew our commitment to the work of Christ and His Church.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain." – Psalm 127:1
