🙏🏽 A CALL TO PRAYER FOR THE 21ST YOUNG WOMEN’S MANYANO CONVENTION

As the Young Women’s Manyano prepares to gather for their 21st Convention, we are honoured, as their brothers and sister organisation in the church, to lead a SPECIAL Pre-Convention Prayer Service.
As this will be an inductive convention, the service will also be an opportunity to pray over the transition, the incoming leadership, and the journey that lies ahead, committing it all into God’s hands.

Under the theme:
“Walking by Faith: Trusting in God”
📖 2 Corinthians 5:7

We invite the YMG community and the entire Methodist Church family to join us as we pray for the Young Women’s Manyano, its leadership, delegates and the Convention ahead.

Let us pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, unity, renewal and blessing over every aspect of the Convention. May God prepare hearts, order every step, and use this gathering to strengthen His people and advance His work.

Our Sisters, we stand with you in prayer.
As brothers and sisters in Christ, we commit your Convention into God’s hands and trust Him for a powerful and fruitful gathering.

Let us come together in faith, prayer and expectation. 🙏🏽

✨ THE OTHER SIDE AWAITS… ✨

The armour is on.
The faith is rising.
The journey continues.
And a new territory awaits. 🙏🏽

As the Young Women Manyano prepare to gather for their 21st Annual Central District Convention, may every step be ordered by God, every heart strengthened, and every barrier overcome.

“Put on the whole armour of God…” — Ephesians 6:11–18

May this be more than a convention — may it be a divine encounter, a crossing over, and a bold advance into what God has prepared. 🔥

Delayed Post | Central District YMG July DGEC

Earlier today, we successfully held the Central District Young Men's Guild District General Executive Committee (DGEC) meeting.

The DGEC remains one of the most important governance platforms of our District, providing an opportunity to reflect on our progress, account for the implementation of Convention resolutions, strengthen our programmes, and collectively plan the work that lies ahead.

Sincere appreciation goes to every delegate, circuit representative, and member of the District Executive for your dedication, thoughtful contributions, and commitment to the growth of our Guild. Together, we continue to build a stronger District in service to God and our communities.

67 Minutes. Countless Lives Touched.

This Mandela Day, the Young Men's Guilds and organizations across the Central District are turning compassion into action. From community outreach, school shoe donations, prison ministry, and home improvement projects, our Circuits are living out the Gospel through service.

As we embrace our 2026 theme, "Turning the Corner to Crossover – The Other Side Awaits" (Genesis 12:1–3), we are reminded that transformation begins when we choose to serve others.

We salute every Circuit, every volunteer, and every hand that will make a difference this Mandela Day.

⚽️ When the collar comes off, the boots go on! 🙌🏾

Don't let the collar fool you— Central District 0900 YMG President, Rev. Mosia knows how to preach on Sunday and play beautiful football on the pitch.

Ministry teaches discipline. Football reveals passion. Both require heart, teamwork, and endurance.

Today, it's not just about goals scored, but about enjoying God's gift of fellowship, fitness, and fun.

Moruti by calling. Footballer by passion. Champion in both. ⚽🔥

As Youth Month has come to a close, the Central District 0900 Young Men's Guild invites you to pause, reflect, and remember.

History is not only found in books—it lives in the lives of those who sacrificed, served, and continue to inspire.

Today, we are honoured to share a special documentary celebrating the life of Ntate Daniel Tokologo "TK" Legodi — a freedom fighter, devoted Christian, and lifelong servant of the Young Men's Guild.

Introduced by our District President, Rev. Peter Mosia, this is more than a documentary. It is a living testimony of a man who turned the corner from helping liberate a nation to faithfully building God's Kingdom.

Our 2026 Convention theme, "Turning the Corner to Crossover – The Other Side Awaits," is beautifully reflected in his journey—a reminder that true greatness is found in service, faithfulness, and the legacy we leave behind.

May this story inspire every young person to honour yesterday's sacrifices by living lives of purpose today.

Watch. Reflect. Share.

Honour the past. Live the present. Inspire the future. 🇿🇦❤️✝️

🚨 THE COUNTDOWN TO 2027 BEGINS! 🚨

This Sunday marks the official launch of the 2027 Bophirima Region Young Men's Guild Convention, to be hosted by Kopano Circuit.

The Central District Young Men's Guild Executive looks forward to joining the Regional President, Regional Executive, Kopano Circuit Executive, YMG members, Ministers, Church leaders, and the broader Methodist family as we embark on this exciting journey towards the 2027 Convention.

We applaud the Bophirima Region for demonstrating the value of forward planning. Preparing well in advance reflects good stewardship, sound leadership, and a shared commitment to ensuring that the 2027 Convention becomes a memorable gathering that advances the mission and ministry of the Young Men's Guild.

As a District, we believe that great conventions are built long before delegates arrive. We commend this initiative and invite all who are able to come and be part of this significant milestone as we launch the road to YMG Convention 2027.

We look forward to worshipping, fellowshipping, and celebrating this occasion together.

This Father's Day, let's remind every father, brother, son, and young man: You are valued, you are supported, and you do not have to carry your burdens alone.

⏰ Reminder | Men's Mental Health Awareness Campaign

As we celebrate Father's Day, let us also take a moment to care for the hearts and minds of the men who lead, provide, mentor, and support our families and communities.

Join the Central District Women's Manyano and Central District YMG this afternoon for an important conversation on Men's Mental Health.

🧠 Men's Mental Health Awareness Campaign | A Call to Strength and Hope

The Central District YMG is honoured to partner with the Central District Women's Manyano in this important Men's Mental Health Awareness Campaign.

As men, we are often called to lead, provide, and carry burdens quietly. Yet Scripture reminds us to "carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Strength is not found in silence alone, but also in seeking support, sharing our struggles, and walking together in faith.

We encourage all brothers, fathers, sons, husbands, and young men across the District to join us for this meaningful conversation as we raise awareness, break stigma, and promote emotional, spiritual, and mental wellness.
