Arya Samaj South Africa Arya Samaj (Sanskrit: ārya samāja आर्य समाज) is a Hindu reform movement founded by Swami Dayananda on 10 April 1875.

The Arya Samaj Movement is an international Neo Hindu movement that has historically been involved in a diverse multitude of social activism programmes. In South Africa, the Aryan Benevolent Home is a leading example of the social upliftment the Arya Samaj is engaged in.

Preparing our youth to walk the path of Dharma. 🕉️

As part of the Youth for Dharma Project, the Veda Dharma Sabha PMB - an affiliate of the Arya Samaj SA - recently held a Yajnopavit and special Havan for students preparing for their trials and forthcoming examinations. We were especially pleased to welcome students from Maritzburg College and Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High who participated in the Veda Niketan examinations as part of this pilot project.

May these blessings inspire our young minds with strength, focus and success. 🙏
