St. Mark's will have its last service on 30 July 2023
While it's a sad time we also celebrate the time that God has granted us 116 years of service.
The baptismal font, the altar, the pulpit, the communion rail, this whole worship space, enabled us to thankfully remember the worship and sacraments in this place and to bring to mind the ministers and lay leaders who have led worship.
For this worship space, loving God
We give You thanks.
We remember the congregations who have gathered here, Sunday after Sunday through all these years and kept the doors open.
For these worshippers, loving God
We give You thanks.
We will gather with so many good and treasured memories and with a sense of grief saying farewell to this hallowed place.
For the life of this faith community which will continue on in new pastures, loving God,
We give You thanks.
God remains with us
Though we let go of our cherished place
God remains with us
Though we sing new songs and worship in new ways
God be with us
Though we find new friends in new congregations.
The peace of the Lord remains with us now and forever more.
