• Objectives
Ubuhle Buka Zioni is established to develop and empower Zion church members to break out of the stereotypic mind-set of accepting poverty and lack of education as fitting label and bring about transformation to the black community at large.
• Empowerment:
We believe various past events in the history of South Africa have contributed to the way black people in general look at themsel
ves. That is visible through the things they have come to accept as their inheritance. We believe the greatest work that needs to be done is the transformation of the mind through our various empowerment seminars and conferences to focus on issues such as self-esteem and self-love and acceptance.
• Development
Ubuhle Buka Zioni firmly believes that everyone was born with a special gift or talent which the world needs. Our development programmes are focusing on releasing the hidden untapped potential that lies within the youth in the Zion church. We believe there are musicians, doctors, business men and women and inventors that are suffocating inside the Zion box of self-pity and self-hate.
• Unity
The bible teaches that two heads are better that one, which simply means a weight carried by two or more people becomes lighter than when it would be carried by one person. We will focus on bringing unity within the Zion church and its organizations because we believe that there is more we can achieve united than divided.
• Vision
A united Zion society freed from its past and living to positively influence the nation and providing a healthy and wealthy society where kids can grow to realise their full potential.
