In today’s powerful Sunday service, guest speaker Pastor Arthur Leyo built upon the teaching shared by Prophet Didier on Friday concerning the priest and the priesthood. He reminded the church that God positions His children not to remain silent but to proclaim His will on the earth. Through prayer and spiritual authority, believers are called to decree and declare according to God’s purpose.

He explained that a priest is a representative of God and that there is a spiritual dimension where one does not merely pray but speaks with authority. However, reaching this level requires spiritual maturity and dedication that not everyone attains.

The pastor defined priesthood as the ministry of those who are consecrated to serve God and accomplish His works for the benefit of others. He also explained that prayer is communication between a person and God, including expressing gratitude, listening in silence, confessing, and simply remaining in God’s presence.

Reflecting on the priesthood in the Old Testament, he taught that it involved family lineage and a life sacrificed to God through sacred ceremonies. He emphasized that every true priesthood requires three essential elements: a priest, a sacrifice, and an altar. Without one of these, the priesthood is incomplete. While the New Testament priesthood differs from the Old Testament, these principles remain significant.

He further taught that the sacrifice God now requires is our own lives as a living sacrifice. Since humanity is made of spirit, soul, and body, believers must allow the Word of God to transform every part of their lives. As the Word enters and works within us, everything that is contrary to God’s will is driven out. This living sacrifice becomes true worship before God.

Finally, Pastor Arthur emphasized the importance of the knowledge of God’s Word, explaining that deeper understanding opens the heavens over our lives. He also highlighted the place of a spiritual father, encouraging believers not to see correction through the preached Word as an attack but as loving guidance that teaches them to walk in God’s ways. By accepting and applying the Word, believers grow into the true priesthood that God has called them to.

In today’s service, Prophet Didier introduced a new teaching entitled “The Priesthood of Prayer.” He began by defining key concepts that form the foundation of this theme.

A priest is a person chosen and consecrated by God for His service. Priesthood refers to the practical exercise and actions of that divine function, while the status of a priest is the official position granted by God. Prayer was defined as a request made to God to obtain grace, favor, help, and the fulfillment of needs.

Moving into the introduction, Prophet Didier explained that in the dimension of priesthood, prayer goes beyond simply presenting requests before God. Drawing from Exodus 30:7-8, he taught that:

* Prayer is a perfume before God.
* Prayer is a spiritual activity, symbolized by the burning of incense before the altar at the entrance of the Holy Place.
* Prayer is a priestly activity, reserved for those who have been called into God’s service.

Referring to Revelation 1:6, he emphasized that a priest does not merely ask but also declares. The priesthood was not established by human invention; it originated in heaven according to God’s divine order.

The prophet then highlighted the first appearance of a priest in Scripture in Genesis 14 through Melchizedek. He explained that a priest has the ability to bring what is in the future into the present through spiritual authority. Using Hebrews 7:9-10, he showed the mystery surrounding Melchizedek, who had neither recorded father nor mother, and whose priesthood carried a heavenly dimension.

The prophet also reflected on Abraham’s victory with 318 men in battle, demonstrating the power and influence of divine priesthood operating in a person’s life.

This powerful introduction laid the foundation for the teaching on The Priesthood of Prayer, a profound subject that will continue in future services.

In today’s sermon, Prophet Didier Mwamba reminded the congregation of the teachings from previous services on the different forms of infiltration used by the enemy: infiltration through the voice, territorial infiltration, and infiltration through spiritual anaesthesia. He emphasized that the devil often uses small openings to gain access because he cannot directly enter a person’s mind.

The Major Consequences of Infiltration

The Prophet taught that the consequences of infiltration are not always immediate. Many people take infiltration lightly, forgetting that life is short and that every believer is called to leave a mark before meeting the Lord.

1. Spiritual Anaesthesia

📖 Matthew 13:25

Spiritual sleep is not merely the absence of activity but a state of negligence and false security. When believers become careless concerning their spiritual lives, they create opportunities for the enemy to infiltrate and alter destinies.

The Prophet explained that many destinies have been exchanged during seasons of spiritual sleep. He compared this to the biblical example of the woman who lost her baby while sleeping. Spiritual sleep allows invisible changes to take place while a person remains unaware.

He also highlighted that many Christians have neglected the command to “pray without ceasing.” Spiritual anaesthesia does not happen instantly but gradually, little by little, until a believer becomes spiritually insensitive.

2. Consequences of an Infiltrated Heart

📖 1 Samuel 15:10-22

One of the clearest signs of an infiltrated heart is when disobedience begins to feel normal or even acceptable. A person may continue serving in church, praying, and appearing committed, yet their heart is no longer submitted to God.

The Prophet taught that disobedience towards God-given authority is often evidence of an infiltrated heart. He also warned that any truth whose purpose is to destroy, divide, or separate people is not God’s truth. If the objective is division, then it serves the enemy’s agenda.

3. The Invisible Deviation of a Person’s Trajectory

📖 Galatians 5:7

A person’s destiny can be diverted through seemingly small compromises. Many believers who once started well are no longer on the same path today because of subtle deviations.

The Prophet explained that sometimes even people who were once close to us can unknowingly become instruments used to divert us from God’s purpose.

4. The Substitution Effect

📖 1 Samuel 10:14

When infiltration is neglected, it can lead to harmful substitutions in a person’s life and character. One manifestation is excessive anger and emotional instability, which gradually replace the peace God intended for His children.

How to Recognize That You Have Been Infiltrated

1. Double Language and Double Identity

📖 Psalm 62:5

An infiltrated person often says one thing but lives another. Their behavior changes depending on the environment they are in. Through their actions, they reveal a double identity that contradicts what they profess.

2. An Allergic Reaction to Truth

📖 Acts 7:54

When the truth is spoken, an infiltrated heart reacts with anger rather than repentance. Instead of receiving correction, such a person becomes defensive and offended.

3. Inability to Rejoice in the Success of Others

📖 1 Samuel 18:9

An infiltrated heart secretly compares itself with others and views brothers and sisters as competitors rather than family. Such a person struggles when others are blessed and constantly seeks attention, recognition, or superiority.

The Prophet warned against judging people when God begins to elevate them simply because we have not yet received the same blessings ourselves.

Additional Characteristics of an Infiltrated Heart

One major characteristic is permanent self-justification. Such individuals always have arguments prepared to defend their actions, regardless of whether they are wrong.

📖 John 12:5

They often sacrifice more for the things of the world than for the things of God, while continuously finding reasons to excuse their lack of commitment to spiritual matters.
