Theme: God wants to refresh you
Scriptures Psalm 103:3-5 | Acts 3:19 | Roman’s 12:2 | Galatians 6:7 | Psalm 128:1 | 2 Corinthians 4:2 | Genesis 4:7 | 1 Timothy 1:5
God doesn't want you to just shutdown during the holidays. He wants to renew your strength for the next year. His heart is to refresh you. Don't use being busy as an excuse. Use the holiday as an opportunity to be restored.
Resting outside of his presence won't refresh you. You need to come back stronger, with a bigger vision, etc.
Over this time God wants to show you that in his presence there's no lack.
What changes your life isn't fulfilling religious acts, but it is changing your decisions.
Not many declarations but decisions you make determine the change in your life. Your ability to make decisions is immutable.
2020 will be different if you make different decisions. You have to make a conscious decision to change ur thinking. You can't pray bad decisions out. You can't pray bad character out.
God wants to refresh you, but nothing is will change if you don't change your thinking. If you don't think different, your life is gonna be the same.
There are no shortcuts to the blessing of God.
Grace forgives you but doesn't take away consequences. If you make bad decisions, you will reap the lifestyle accordingly. Praying is not a substitute for Character.
The hidden things are what the enemy uses to keep you from the refreshing of God. “Renounce"
You give sin power when you hide it. God can't clothe you while you're clothing yourself.
We deal with life by not underestimating the effect of the little things that are wrong.
When your conscience is not right with God, that is the worst place to be: disconnected from his spirit.
We need to repent, renounce it before God that he may cleanse you. Confront the things that you know are not right.
Your future is up to you. Only when you change your mind and confront those things, then God can use you because you're genuine. Allow God to help you.
