This past Sunday we gathered, as we always do on the Lord's Day, to worship our risen Lord Jesus Christ. We sang together in praise to God and then sat under the preaching of His Word from John 14:1–4 in a sermon entitled, "Are You Troubled?"

Brother Siya reminded us that Jesus calls His people away from a life marked by troubled hearts, unrest, and a lack of joy, and instead calls us to enjoy His peace, a peace grounded in His promises to those who belong to Him.

After the service, we shared an extended time of fellowship over our fellowship lunch. It was a sweet and refreshing time together.

This past Sunday, as the congregation gathered to sing praises to the Lord.

We were blessed to have brother Stephen Mgavu as our guest preacher.
He preached from Philippians 1:21 on the theme, "To Die Is Gain." It was a timely and wise reminder that this present life is passing away, but for all who trust in Jesus Christ, death is not ultimately a loss, it is gain. Although it means saying goodbye to the pleasures and comforts of this world, it also means seeing Christ face to face and beginning an eternity in His glorious presence. What a wonderful hope belongs to every believer.
