Hey Fam. It's been a minute. Trust you are all good in these trying time, you are holding on to the Master's great hand and trusting Him to see you through until the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Just been pondering on some thoughts in this season. Thoughts like blessed to be a blessing, it is more blessed to give than to receive, etc. What does all this mean? Well, if you are in a position to show kindness in distress, able to bless others, to lighten the weight on their shoulders, shine light in their darkness, you are blessed. So, here's some food for thought.
If you have these seeds to sow, allow it to germinate and grow. This means, releasing it into the ground. Letting it go, literally forgetting about it. Mentioning what you did for others, reminding them of what you did, seeking repayment for what you professed to be a blessing, instead of giving God thanks for enabling you to do so, may interfere with the return of your more blessed. It is like digging up your seed everytime, to see its progress, ultimately destroying your harvest.
So, if you have been able to shine your torch in someone's darkness, thank God for your battery supply, ask Him to keep it charged, so that you can continue to do so. Whatever blessing you have been, allow God to be your rewarder, don't seek your own reward. His rewards surpass our imagination by far. Let us also not put measures on what we deem blessings. What may seem insignificant to you, may be someone's very best, remember the widow with the 2 mites? Precious in the sight of God.
Let us be grateful for every blessing, great, or small and always reciprocate to the best of our ability. For God is able, to enable the unable to be able.
Shalom.
