If Jesus Christ (PBUH) mentions prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Bible then why don't the Christians believe in him?

Jesus never mentions Mohammed in the Bible. Not once. Neither do any writings of any of Jesus’ Apostles and disciples mention Mohammed. That’s merely one reason we do not believe Jesus spoke about Mohammed.
However, Jesus did mention the Church quite a bit.
We believe in the Church, because we believe Him.
He also mentioned that He came to fulfill the law of the Covenant (which included the dietary laws).
We believe Him.
He also clearly said that He came to establish a new and everlasting Covenant; and He said that His own blood is the blood of that New Covenant.
We believe Him.
He also said that what (formerly unclean foods) a man puts into his mouth cannot defile him, but what comes out of his mouth (sinful or faithless words) can.
We believe Him.
He also said that His blood He freely shed so sins may be forgiven.
We believe Him.
He also said, “Before Abraham was, I AM”
We believe Him.
He said that He will return to judge the living and the dead and give unto each according to what each has done.
We believe Him.
He also said that He gave to Peter the keys to heaven and earth, and such authority that whatever Peter bound on earth so it would be in heaven; He also said that He gave that authority to the Apostles; that for those whose sins they forgave or withheld, so it truly would be; He also said that when we have disputes that two or three witnesses cannot settle, the Church must rule.
We believe Him.
He said we can be forgiven of sin (rather than be punished), be born again of water and of the Spirit; and He said that through Him and Him alone can we come to The Father and be with Him forever in Paradise.
We believe Him.
He said, “The Father and I are One.”
We believe Him. We believe all those things.
But about Mohammed, Jesus said nothing, unless perhaps indirectly in His warning to the Church that imposters will come claiming that they come in Jesus’ name.
We believe Him.
Mohammed bore a gospel contrary to the Gospel of Christ. Jesus told us that even if it is an angel, whomever comes bearing another gospel we must reject.
We do.
Edits 5 & 4: [8 Oct: '24] Split last paragraph in two. [29 Sept. '24] tidied-up phrasing [and edit notes order] for consistency in format. No changes in meaning for either edit.
Edit 3: Temporarily closing comments because folks aren't reading / believing comments 1 and 2, below.
Edit 2: Please stop reposting the claim that Mohammed is the Comforter (Paraclete) and Spirit of Truth mentioned in the text. This is utterly debunked.
“And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, who the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him [NOW — present tense], for he dwells with you [NOW — present tense], and will be [future tense] in you.” —John 14, Verses 16 and 17
This is sufficient to say that whomever Jesus was talking about, it was not Mohammed.
