In light of the recent unrest and incidents that have taken place in the Pimville area, particularly near Maponya Mall, we as the Pimville Seventh-day Adventist Church extend our heartfelt prayers to all families and individuals affected by the violence and loss.
As a faith community, we stand firmly for peace, unity, and the protection of life. We echo the words of our Lord in Matthew 5:9, โBlessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.โ We urge all members of our community to reject violence and choose dialogue, compassion, and understanding.
We also wish to assure our members, visitors, and the community that our church gates will be open as usual tomorrow, Sabbath, with no interruptions to our worship services. We are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all who wish to join us in prayer, worship, and fellowship.
Let us come together tomorrow not only to worship but also to intercede in prayer for peace in our community, healing for the bereaved, and wisdom for leaders and stakeholders involved.
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." โ John 14:27
