This is a public statement from the saints at Acts Continued Ministries concerning the removal of Donald Teboho Siwele from the Head Pastoral position and the immediate dissolving of the ministry.
The said head pastor of Acts Continued Ministries has been kicked out of the ministry following over 30 reported incidences of his misuse of power and authority to sexually exploit women in the ministry between the years 2009 and 2019 as the accompanying video shows. We press on without him, howbeit not under the name or banner of Acts Continued Ministries; but as the Lord will lead; the ministry will therefore be dissolved immediately.
The transgressions and misconducts of the previous head pastor were not only limited to those of a sexual nature but included the misconduct of the ministry saint’s financial resources. He has caused the saints of Acts continued Ministries much pain: manipulating and violating the saints for almost 10 years. Through occupying the seat of shepherding the church he would use false words and deceitful tactics to sow division amongst the saints in the interest of covering up his transgressions and making the saints vulnerable to his plans. Upon the reporting of the sexual incidents, the victims noted a pattern in which the sexual misconducts were made to look consensual by the perpetrator; a tactic which has proven to be used by many immoral leaders to make any charge against them inadmissible in court. The previous head pastor threatened the saints of Acts Continued Ministries when they had knowledge of his misconducts and those who confronted him were subsequently removed from the ministry. Reports also include the use of his position to gain confidential information from the saints which he would use falsely to manipulate narratives and bring condemnation. At the release of this statement, Teboho Donald Siwele has since deleted his Facebook and Instagram accounts.
With this statement we would like to warn our society, particularly high schools, churches and universities of South Africa to be careful of individuals such as Teboho Donald Siwele. There have been many cases of a similar kind from other ministries in the country but unfortunately the structures of the law have not been able to protect them and that is what the accused individuals have counted on. We also encourage other churches who are suffering under a similar case to stand up against the situation in one way or another. Church leaders ought to know that the saints will not tolerate being plundered in any manner. Any form of exploitation of God's people for their own selfish gains must be confronted and resolved by the church, parents/guardians of the young members of the church, the affected community and government institutions to ensure that this does not happen. Let all those which are wrong in the church be pointed out so that the people of God can be free to worship God in truth and safety.
To the lives affected and the dear saints that have entrusted their lives to us over the past 10 years, as the leadership of the ministry we apologize to you all for the pain and degradation that you faced and which we could not protect you from. We were all under a falsehood impression. We pray to God for the healing and restoration of all of us; and for God's protection and direction, furthermore, we would like to express our absolute condemnation of such behaviour and actions, had we known sooner we would have chased the perpetrator out immediately like we did when we found out as we in no way condone misconduct in the church.
In closing, let us not move away from the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ because of those who have chosen to exploit it. Jesus is still The Way, The Truth and The Life.
