WOMEN’S MONTH AT THE GATEWAY | S.H.E PRAY

There are moments when women gather, and there are moments when women gather to pray. The difference can be generational.

This Women’s Month, the women of House on the Rock, The Gateway Johannesburg are coming together for a special time of prayer with Pst Anne McSamuel.

We are praying over our lives, our homes, our marriages, our children, our careers, our businesses, our purpose and the future God has placed before us.

Scripture reminds us:

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” - Proverbs 31:25

That kind of confidence is not built by circumstances. It is born from knowing God, standing in faith and understanding the authority we carry in prayer.

Come with expectation. Come with another woman. Come ready to pray.

This past church unusual we learned the church is a spiritual hospital. We explored why Christians hide struggles (fear of judgment), the healing power of confession, the call to support and sharpen one another, and how a humble, repentant heart shows true faith. Grace and accountability go together, and with community we can rebuild after failure. Join us next Sunday to continue the conversation—bring a friend and come ready to be strengthened. Distinguished Servant Idara Mcsamuel challenged us to choose surrender over show — obedience over ritual. Using Saul and Samuel, he warned that worship can become a deceptive substitute for the deeper call to obey; God wants our hearts, not just our gifts. Will you withhold nothing this week?
