The Valedictory Service of Rev Ian Booth as the Interim General Secretary of UCCSA was held on Sunday 19th January 2020 at St Lukes congregational church, North of Durban.The service was attended by the UCCSA leadership; Clergy and members of KZN region. The Interim General Secretary handed over the stole to the new General Secretary Rev. Kudzani Ndebele.

The newly elected UCCSA leadership is as follows:

1. President-elect:- Rev Sikhalo Cele - Zimbabwe Synod

2. Treasurer - Mrs Kgomotso Nxumalo - South Africa Synod

3. Director-Assembly Training for the Ministry Committee: Rev Dr Sifiso Mpofu - Zimbabwe Synod.

4. Mission Council Convenor - Rev Kudzani Ndebele - South Africa Synod.

5. Investments Committee Chairperson- Mr Ricky Oliphant - South Africa Synod.

6. Women Officers: Mrs Morolong (Botswana Synod), Mrs Litsuri (Mozambique Synod ), Mrs Green (Namibia Synod)

7. The President is now Rev Dr Desmond van der Water - South Africa Synod

8. The Immediate Past President is Rev Mosweu Simane - Botswana Synod

9. The Rev Ian Booth - South Africa Synod - has been appointed as the Interim General Secretary until the 2019 Assembly in Zimbabwe where the appointment of the General Secretary will be done.

That completes the UCCSA Leadership Team.
