GOOD NEWS
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read Isaiah 52:7"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace! of him who brings goodtidings, who publishes salvation! of him who says to Zion, ’Your God reigns! The one who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, the one who says to Zion, Your God reigns!
When Jesus was born, the good news was that ‘the saviour of the world was born in Bethlehem’.
When Jesus was physically alive, he preached the good news of repentance because the kingdom of God was at hand.
When Jesus died on the cross, the good news was: ‘All is accomplished’, the work is done.
When Jesus rose again, the good news was, ‘He's not here!’
When Jesus ascended into heaven, the good news was: ‘He will come again’.
Declaration: We are messengers of good news, not bad news.
I pray that you will be a messenger of good news in the name of Jesus Christ.

GETHSEMANI
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let's read Mat.26:36 "Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane.’
Gethsemane means a place where they crushed olives, they broke them to get fresh oil. This is where Jesus went to face his moment of agony. It was there that he was spiritually broken. Luke 22:44 describes the event: ‘Sweat poured from his face like drops of blood falling to the ground’. What happened on the cross was simply the physical manifestation of what had happened in Gethsemane. There, our Lord Jesus was pressed and the fresh oil flowed so that it could contaminate all those who would believe in him. Jesus is the Olive Tree and we are its branches (Rom11:24). In your moment of suffering, you must pray intensely as Jesus did in Gethsemane and you will come out full of fresh oil to overcome the world and its attractions.
Statement of truth: When we turn to God in times of suffering, God squeezes the best out of us.
I pray that your moments of suffering will produce in you an anointing to change the world in Jesus Christ's name.

PRAYING WITH FAITH
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read Psalm 31:2-6: ‘ O Lord, I seek refuge in you; may I never be put to shame. Deliver me in your righteousness. Incline thine ear unto me; help me speedily. Be to me a rock of protection and a fortress of salvation, for you are my rock and my fortress, and for your name's sake you will lead me and guide me. You will bring me out of the net they have set for me; for you are my protector. Into your hands I commend my spirit; you will deliver me, O Lord, God of truth.
When David, the man after God's own heart, was in danger and needed Yahweh's help, he added faith to his prayer. Let us also, in times of distress, continue to pray victorious prayers and believe that Yahweh will save us. .
Statement of truth: ‘Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be done for you (Mar 11:24 ).’
I pray that you will add faith to your prayer and that Yahweh will deliver you from the challenges you face in the name of Jesus Christ.

PARTNERS
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read Exo 17:12-13 After some time, Moses' arms became tired. So they put a large rock under Moses for him to sit on. Then Aaron and Hur held Moses' hands in the air. Aaron was on one side of Moses and Hur was on the other side. They held his hands up like this until the sun went down. So Joshua and his men defeated the Amalekites in this battle.
Shortly after crossing the Red Sea, the nation of Amalek came to fight Israel. During the battle, when Moses raised his hands to pray to God, Israel won, but when Moses got tired and lowered his hands, Amalek won. When Aaron and Ur came to support Moses' hands, Israel finally achieved total victory. The battle takes place on two levels: spiritual and physical, and what happens on the spiritual level has repercussions on the physical level.
Statement of truth: In the face of intense warfare, prayer partners are useful to support you in defeating your enemies.
I pray that God will send you prayer partners to support you with powerful prayers to win your battle in Jesus Christ's name.

ALL THINGS
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let’s read Rom 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
All means all. It does not matter the quantity or quality of things, whether they are good or bad, whether they come from God or the devil. These things, including the challenges you are going through now, are in motion; they are moving in a direction where your good is. Why? Because you love God. Our love for God must always increase. How you seek to please Him in your daily attitudes and activities will show your love for God. He created you for a purpose and with a mission - to serve for His glory, to change someone or something for His glory; to make something worthless valuable for His glory. So, even in a difficult time, stand up and serve the purpose for which we were created.
Statement of truth: You were created to serve God's purpose, not yours.
I pray that while the world is panicking, all these challenges we are facing will work for our good in Christ Jesus’s name.

TRUTH AND REALITY
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let’s read 2Ki 6:16-17 “And he answered, Do not fear, for those with us are more than those with them. And Elisha prayed and said, I pray You, Jehovah, open his eyes so that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
Prophet Elisha's servant woke up in the morning and saw the Syrian army surrounding them. He panicked with fear, thinking they were going to die. But Elisha knew who they were and how safe they were, which is why he prayed for God to open the young man's eyes. It is spiritual blindness that causes many Christians to live in fear. Whether sick or not, in trouble or not, in danger or not, fear should not be entertained by you as a child of God. The truth is that you are in His presence, as He promised never to leave us nor forsake us.
Statement of truth: Physical eyes show reality (challenges), but spiritual eyes reveal the truth (God's presence holding your future).
I pray that God’s peace will fill your heart so that you will be still and know that He is our God in Christ Jesus’s name.

In this new week, I pray the blessings of Abraham upon your life - May God make you a great nation; may God bless you and make your name great,; may God bless those who bless you, and deal with those who curse; and may God make you a blessing to many people in the name of Jesus Christ. SHELTER OF ELEVATION
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read Psalm 27:5 ‘For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His shelter, in the secrecy of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall lift me up on a rock..
During frightening times, David sought refuge in the house of the Lord for it was a safe haven to escape persecution, distress, anxiety, and even plague. Today, Jesus Christ is that refuge, where we can seek safety and protection.
‘He will lift me up on a rock ‘: In difficult times, we can find comfort in Jesus, our rock of refuge. He is beyond the reach of our enemies, higher than every principality and authority, and above all demons and complicated situations. When we come to him, he lifts us up to where he is, elevating us in the process.
Statement of truth: When we seek refuge in Jesus, he not only protects us but also elevates us.
I pray that you will find Yahweh, our God, as your only safe haven in your time of need, in the name of Christ Jesus.

GOOD DAYS
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let's read Ephesians 6:13. "Therefore take up all the weapons of God, that you may be able to stand in the evil day, and stand firm after overcoming all things."
In life, there are both bad days and good days. Many Christians get distracted and forget that it's on the good days when a Christian is supposed to arm himself with all the weapons of God. On good days, you should wear the spiritual belt (let your life be truthful), put on the spiritual shoes (be zealous to proclaim the gospel), wear the spiritual shield (have faith in the word you read), put on the spiritual helmet (have assurance and confidence in your salvation), take up the spiritual sword (read the Bible every day), and finally, have a life of prayer.
Truth Statement: The good days are for preparation and equipment, but the bad days are for resisting and defeating the enemies' attacks.
I pray that you will be a victorious soldier in the name of Jesus Christ.

BIRTHDAY
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let's read Pro 16:31 White hair is a crown of honour; it is to be found in the path of righteousness ‘.
Many people have white hair but those who have had it while walking the path of righteousness are blessed because it is not age in itself that brings a crown of glory to a person, but age in the path of righteousness. It's wonderful when you can be old and remember a long walk with God throughout life. Then you can look forward to uninterrupted fellowship with him in glory.
Statement of truth: Age in itself does not make everyone better, but the way Lord Jesus Christ.
As my silver hair grows, I see it as a blessing of old age. I pray that it will be a symbol of wisdom, experience, and a crown of glory in my life and the lives of others who are aging like me. Happy birthday to me.

PROTECTION
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read Isaiah 43:1-2 ‘ Thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob! He who formed you, O Israel! Fear not, for I will redeem you; I will call you by name; you are mine. If you go through the waters, I will be with you; and the rivers, they will not overwhelm you; if you walk through the fire, you will not be burnt, nor will the flame set you on fire’.
God's children are facing difficult times, but God's message ‘Do not be afraid’ remains valid. Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, shed his blood on the cross of Calvary to redeem us. If we belong to God, we have nothing to fear. He knows us by name. We are no one else's property or slave; all claims are annulled by the blood of Jesus Christ. God is here to hold us, protect us, guard us, and care for us. We will not die until God allows it.
Statement of truth: Perilous times are inevitable, but God assures us that these threats cannot overwhelm us like deep waters, nor burn us like fire..
Lord God, whose work is never unfinished, we thank you for your wonderful promise to be with us in dangerous circumstances and for victory in the name of Jesus Christ.

BE AT PEACE
Beloved in the Lord, shalom. Let us read John 16:33 “I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
Jesus made this statement as he was about to be arrested, tortured, and hanged on the cross. Jesus went to the cross as a conqueror and without fear. He did it for us. Before he left, he didn't promise us effortless victories with mere declarations. At the same time as he warned us of the suffering of this world, he also told us to keep our peace in him. In the face of every struggle in this world, let us keep the peace and be courageous enough to face it because Christ has already conquered it. This is the spirit of an overcomer, who faces the storm without fear because he knows that Jesus is in control.
Statement of truth: No matter what you go through find rest in the Lord.
I pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding keeps your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
