Rejoice, 2023 is Here! The Lord Executes Judgment On All Who Hate You!
When He instituted Passover, God was defining His people anew! Being Israel in flesh was not what would save them, but the application of the blood of the Lamb would be used to set them apart from the enemy from that moment on.
Exodus 12:23 NKJV For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.
The Passover in the Old Testament was a shadow of the new life the Father would bring through Jesus for all of Creation. We were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise (Ephesians 2:12). But through the coming of the promised seed, those who believe are granted access into the house of God. This Seed, who is Christ, was prophesied to come for the crushing of Satan’s head (Genesis 3:15).
One would think that such a mission deserved great preparation. However, the whole Son of God, who came as the Saviour of the world, had neither a colour-schemed baby shower nor a labour ward provided at His birth. This signifies how the beginning of the journey into the Spirit is marked with discomfort and unimportance.
As His follower, you have changed natures and have become His fruit. Therefore, your life has to mirror His in every way. In fact, it is no longer you but Him who lives. Your life is now hidden in Him!
Just like Him, you came to crush the enemy’s head!
Just like Him, your beginning would have been despisable, with nothing to write home about.
Just like Him, the Word spoken concerning you has to be fulfilled.
In all your difficult circumstances, things are working out for your good if you continue to walk with Him. He promised that those who come to Him would not end in obscurity.
Zacharias spoke the following words at the birth of his son, John, who came to usher in the Christ:
Luke 1:67-71 NKJV Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us. In the house of His servant David, As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, that we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us.
Through the Cross, Jesus proves to be the true Passover Lamb who comes to save us from our enemies and give us new life in His blood.
Luke 22:20 NKJV Likewise, He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
As you enter 2023, let this blood be a sign for you and your loved ones to be passed over by any plague to destroy when the land is struck (Exodus 12:13). Rejoice Beloved, as the Lord surely executes judgment on those who do you harm (Exodus 12:12).
Luke 21:22 NKJV For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Beloved, let the beginning of the New Year be marked by the Blood of Jesus. Partake of Holy Communion and receive all that comes with it!
Exodus 12:2 NKJV “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Declare with us the following and access your 2023 blessings:
I partake of the new life in Christ! I let go of the old. Slavery ends today! From today, I am free from the hand of my enemies. Those who hate me shall no longer locate me, for I am hidden in Christ. I am delivered forever from the power of darkness. Satan no longer has dominion over me. From this day, I am translated into the kingdom of the Son of God. Nothing shall, by any means, hurt me and my family.
I am entering 2023; A festive year; A year of Rejoicing!
God’s grace is upon the Church and all who enter the Church. You are the Church.
