Deuteronomy opens with a powerful reminder: the distance from Egypt to the Promised Land was not meant to take a lifetime… yet because of fear, disobedience, doubt, and wandering hearts, God’s people spent 40 years in the wilderness.

And sometimes, our own journeys look the same.

What God could have done quickly becomes delayed when we resist His direction, question His goodness, or keep circling the same lessons.

But even in the wilderness, God was faithful. He provided. He corrected. He guided. He never abandoned them.

Maybe the question is not, “Why is this taking so long?”
Maybe the question is, “Lord, what are You teaching me on the way?”

Don’t just move forward… move forward with God.

Some journeys are longer than they needed to be… but never wasted when God is leading.

Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?”

That question still matters today.

Peter’s answer was not based on opinion, pressure, or popularity… it was revelation: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

When we truly know who Jesus is, we begin to understand who we are in Him. Our faith is built on Christ, the solid rock, and no darkness can overcome what He is building.

May our hearts answer boldly today:
Jesus, You are Lord.

“Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He didn’t tell His disciples to hide, wait in fear, or stay comfortable… He told them to GO.

In Acts 1:1-8, Jesus reminds us that the Holy Spirit gives us power… not just for ourselves, but to be witnesses of His love, truth, and salvation everywhere we go.

The same power that strengthened the early church is available to us today.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You simply need a willing heart.

Be bold.
Be faithful.
Be a witness.

When life feels heavy, don’t lose heart.

Paul reminds us that even in suffering, we can bow before the Father with confidence… knowing that God is working, strengthening, and leading us through every season.

May our faith not grow faint, but deeper.
