Happy Sabbath

The greatest need of every heart is not earthly success or human approval.

Our greatest need is Jesus.

We cannot stand before a holy God clothed in our own righteousness.

We need the perfect righteousness of Christ.

๐ŸŽถ "Cover with His life, whiter than snow."

What a beautiful prayer!

Our lives may have been stained by sin.

Our hearts may carry regrets.

Our consciences may be burdened.

Yet Jesus offers something the world can never giveโ€”forgiveness, cleansing, and a new life.

๐Ÿ“– "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." โ€” Isaiah 1:18

At the cross, Jesus took our guilt upon Himself.

By His death we are reconciled to God.

By His perfect life we are justified.

By His Word and Spirit we are sanctified.

And when He returns, we shall be glorified in His everlasting kingdom.

What amazing grace!

What amazing love!

As we worship on this holy Sabbath, let us accept the robe of Christ's righteousness with grateful hearts.

Let us lay aside every sin and every burden.

Let us trust completely in His mercy.

For only those covered by His righteousness can stand with joy when our Lord appears.

May our daily prayer be:

"Lord, cover me with Your life. Let my heart reflect Your character, and prepare me for the day when I shall see You face to face."

Happy Sabbath. May the righteousness of Christ cover your life, fill your heart with peace, and prepare you for His glorious return.

Sometimes, reflecting on God's promises can reshape our thoughts and bring peace to our hearts. God loves you and cares deeply about your well-being. Whatever is weighing on your heart or mind, surrender it to Him. He will strengthen you, sustain you, and carry you through.

The beautiful city of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is often called the "Venice of the North" because it stretches across 14 islands connected by dozens of bridges. With its rich history, stunning architecture, and picturesque waterfront, Stockholm is home to approximately 1.7 million people in its metropolitan area, while Sweden has a population of about 10.6 million.

Sweden is among the world's most secular nations, although the country's religious heritage is rooted in Christianity through the Lutheran tradition. Today, many people identify as having no religious affiliation, while growing immigrant communities have contributed to increasing religious diversity, including Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and other faiths.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has had a presence in Sweden for well over a century. Today there are approximately 2,972 Seventh-day Adventists worshiping in 33 churches. The headquarters of the Swedish Union is located here in Stockholm, from where the Church coordinates its ministry throughout the nation.

Please join me in praying for the people of Stockholm and all of Sweden, that many hearts will be opened to receive the everlasting gospel and prepare for the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Happy Sabbath, and may God richly bless you and your family!

Happy Sabbath

As we enjoy the sacred hours of the Sabbath, let us lift our eyes beyond the troubles of this world and look toward the blessed hope of Christ's soon return.

The question of the watchman still echoes today:

"Watchman, what of the night?"

As we look around us, we see the signs Jesus foretold.

The world is growing darker.

Sin is increasing.

The love of many is growing cold.

Yet, through the darkness, there is a glorious message of hope.

๐ŸŽถ "Light is beaming, day is coming!"

๐Ÿ“– "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." โ€” Luke 21:28

The Daystar is rising.

The morning of God's eternal kingdom is almost here.

Our journey is nearly over.

God has not left us without direction.

He has given us His Word as our chart and His promises as our compass.

They lead us safely toward the heavenly kingdom.

So let us not become discouraged by what we see around us.

Instead, let us press onward with faith.

Let us encourage one another.

Let us remain steadfast, knowing that every fulfilled prophecy reminds us that Jesus is coming soon.

The night of sin will soon give way to the eternal morning of righteousness.

May this Sabbath strengthen your faith, renew your hope, and fill your heart with joyful anticipation of the day when we shall see our Saviour face to face.

Happy Sabbath. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.

Happy Sabbath

The sweetest place anyone can be is at the feet of Jesus.

It is there that we hear His voice.

It is there that we find peace for our troubled hearts.

It is there that our burdens become lighter and our faith grows stronger.

๐ŸŽถ "Sitting at the feet of Jesus, O what words I hear Him say!"

The Sabbath is God's invitation to leave behind the noise of the world and spend sacred time in His presence.

At His feet we lay our sins.

At His feet we leave our worries.

At His feet we find grace, comfort, and true rest.

๐Ÿ“– "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." โ€” Matthew 11:28

The world offers temporary relief, but Jesus gives lasting peace.

His love heals the broken heart.

His Word strengthens the weary soul.

His presence fills us with hope for today and confidence for tomorrow.

As we worship this holy Sabbath, may our greatest desire be to remain close to our Saviour.

May we learn from Him.

May we be transformed by Him.

May others see the character of Christ reflected in our lives.

And may our daily prayer be:

"Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus. Make me holy as He is. May I prove I've been with Jesus, who is all my righteousness."

Happy Sabbath. May you find peace, joy, and true rest as you sit at the feet of Jesus, the One who loves you with an everlasting love.

As we prepare our hearts for the Sabbath, let Christ in Song No. 25 be our guide.

"All to Jesus I surrender..."

These are not just beautiful words to sing.

They are a daily commitment to live.

Jesus is not asking for a part of our lives.

He is asking for all of us.

Our hearts.

Our minds.

Our plans.

Our ambitions.

Our joys and our sorrows.

Our entire lives belong to Him.

๐Ÿ“– "I beseech you therefore, brethren... that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God." โ€” Romans 12:1

To surrender is not to lose.

It is to gain Christ.

It is to exchange our weakness for His strength.

Our guilt for His forgiveness.

Our fear for His peace.

Our uncertainty for His perfect will.

"Worldly pleasures all forsaken, take me, Jesus, take me now."

The world has nothing that can compare with the joy of walking with Christ.

True happiness is found in His presence.

True peace is found in trusting Him.

True freedom is found in surrendering everything to Him.

As we enter the sacred hours of the Sabbath, let our prayer be:

"Lord, I surrender all. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lead me in Your will, and help me to live each day for Your glory."

For there is no safer place than in the hands of Jesus.

May Christ in Song No. 25 be more than a hymn we singโ€”may it become the prayer we live: "All to Jesus I surrender."

Happy Sabbath Preparations

As we prepare to welcome the holy Sabbath, let us lift our hearts above the cares of this world and fix our eyes on Jesus.

He is more than our Saviour.

He is our Redeemer.

Our Comforter.

Our faithful Friend.

๐ŸŽถ "O Jesus my Redeemer, Thou art my joy and song."

In moments of joy, He is worthy of our praise.

In moments of sorrow, He is our comfort.

When burdens seem too heavy, He carries them with us.

When tears fall, He is near to the brokenhearted.

๐Ÿ“– "The Lord is my strength and my song, and He is become my salvation." โ€” Exodus 15:2

"No other friend so constant, no friend so dear to me."

Friends may come and go.

Circumstances may change.

But Jesus never changes.

His love is constant.

His mercy is everlasting.

His promises never fail.

As another Sabbath approaches, let us lay aside every burden and spend time with the One who gives true rest.

May this sacred day renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and fill our hearts with songs of praise.

For the Jesus who walks with us through this world of sin will soon welcome us through the heavenly gates, where our rejoicing will never end.

Happy Sabbath Preparations. May Jesus, our Redeemer, remain your joy, your song, and your constant Friend today and always.

When Jesus shall gather the nations

One day, every nation will stand before the King of kings.

Every language.

Every people.

Every generation.

No one will escape that appointment.

๐ŸŽถ "When Jesus shall gather the nations, before Him at last to appear..."

The greatest question is not where we live or what we have accomplished.

The greatest question is:

How shall we stand in the Judgment?

๐Ÿ“– "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ." โ€” 2 Corinthians 5:10

On that great day, Jesus will gather the wheat into His garner.

Those who have accepted His grace, trusted His Word, and remained faithful to the end will hear the words every believer longs to hear:

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

What a glorious moment that will be!

The Saviour will look upon His redeemed with joy.

He will see His seal upon their lives.

He will clothe them with heavenly beauty.

Every tear will be wiped away.

Every struggle will be over.

Until that day, let us be watching and waiting.

Let our lamps be burning brightly.

Let our hearts remain fixed on Heaven.

Let us live each day with the blessed hope of Christ's soon return.

For our pilgrimage is almost over.

The Bridegroom is coming.

And soon we shall bask forever in His glorious presence.

May we be found faithful when Jesus gathers His children into His everlasting kingdom.
