THE WORD ON FAITH

Faith is the key that connects us to God’s promises.

đź“– Hebrews 11:1
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
No matter the situation, faith says God is able, God is willing, and God will make a way. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep standing on His Word.

Teaching: The Mind Without the Holy Spirit

Theme: Why we need the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts and lives

Main Scripture
“To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” — Romans 8:6 (KJV)
Introduction
The mind is the control center of a person. What controls the mind influences decisions, behavior, and destiny. A mind without the Holy Spirit can become confused, fearful, prideful, and easily led astray. But when the Holy Spirit leads the mind, there is wisdom, peace, and spiritual understanding.
1. The Natural Mind Cannot Understand Spiritual Things
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God… neither can he know them.” — 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
Without the Holy Spirit:
People depend only on human wisdom
Spiritual truths seem foolish
Discernment becomes weak
Wrong choices become easier
The Holy Spirit gives revelation and understanding.
2. A Mind Without the Holy Spirit Is Vulnerable
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil… walketh about.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
An unguarded mind can be attacked by:
Fear
Doubt
Anger
Lust
Bitterness
Confusion
The enemy often fights through thoughts before actions.
3. The Holy Spirit Renews the Mind
“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” — Ephesians 4:23 (KJV)
The Holy Spirit works to:
Change our thinking
Remove worldly patterns
Build faith and wisdom
Produce peace and self-control
A renewed mind thinks according to God's will.
4. The Mind Needs Divine Guidance
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
Human understanding has limits. Intelligence alone cannot replace spiritual guidance. The Holy Spirit helps believers:
Discern truth
Make wise decisions
Avoid deception
Walk in obedience
5. Guard What Enters the Mind
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
Be careful about:
What you watch
What you listen to
The company you keep
The words you meditate on
The mind feeds on what it receives.
Conclusion
A mind without the Holy Spirit struggles to understand spiritual truth and may be easily influenced by fear and worldly thinking. But a mind surrendered to God experiences life, peace, and direction.
Closing Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, renew our minds through Your Holy Spirit. Remove confusion, fear, and every wrong thought. Fill us with wisdom, discernment, and peace. Help us think according to Your Word and walk under Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Stay in Prayer, Stay in Power

Beloved brethren
In times like these, when life feels heavy and uncertain, we must remember one unshakable truth: our strength is found in prayer. Prayer is not just a routine—it is our lifeline, our connection to God, our place of renewal and victory.
The Word of God reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, pray without ceasing. This means prayer is not only for Sunday mornings or difficult moments—it is a daily, continuous conversation with our Heavenly Father. When we pray, we are not speaking into the air; we are speaking to the One who holds all power in His hands.
Brethren, many battles we face are not physical, but spiritual. Fear, doubt, discouragement—these are attacks on our faith. But the Bible says in Ephesians 6:18, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Prayer is our weapon. When we pray, chains are broken, doors are opened, and strength is restored.
You may feel tired. You may feel like your prayers are not being answered. But be encouraged today: God hears every prayer. Not one word you speak to Him goes unnoticed. In Jeremiah 33:3, He says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things. His timing is perfect, even when we don’t understand it.
Do not give up on prayer. That moment when you feel like quitting—that is the moment you must press in even harder. Your breakthrough could be one prayer away. Your miracle could be just around the corner.
be a praying man or woman mzalwane do not rely on strength, wisdom, or resources—but on God. When we kneel in prayer, we rise in power.
So today I encourage you:
Pray in the morning before you start your day
Pray in the evening before you rest
Pray in every situation—good or bad
Because prayer changes things, and most importantly, prayer changes us.
May the Lord strengthen your spirit, revive your heart, and ignite a fresh fire of prayer within you.
Amen.
