Join us as we celebrate 150 years of the Mothers' Union. Come and give thanks to God with us at our Mary Sumner Day Service. Where, together we will proclaim, "To God be the glory, great things he has done." We give thanks to God for his faithfulness through every generation and look ahead with hope.

What began in 1876 with the vision of our founder, Mary Sumner, has grown into a global movement of over 4 million members across 84 countries, united by a shared commitment to faith in action and transforming lives. From supporting mothers in a Hampshire parish to advocating for stronger families and communities around the world, our history is one of courage, compassion and lasting impact.

As we reflect on the journey that has brought us here 150 years later, we also look ahead with hope, continuing to respond to the needs of our communities through prayer, advocacy and practical action.

We look forward to celebrating this remarkable legacy together at St Paul's Cathedral this evening and giving thanks for the generations of members whose faith and service continue to inspire us.
