Our Lady’s whole life was a generous “yes” to God. From the Annunciation to the foot of the Cross, she remained faithful even when she could not yet understand His plans.

In moments of suffering and uncertainty, let us turn to Mary. She teaches us to believe in the darkness, to hope when all seems lost, and to love Jesus above all things.

🙏 Blessed Virgin Mary, teach us to surrender ourselves to God and lead us always to your Divine Son.

"Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus." (John 11:5)

The greatest miracle at Bethany was not only the raising of Lazarus. Jesus led Martha, Mary, and Lazarus from death to life through faith. Their story reminds us that Christ still calls each of us to leave the tomb of sin and walk in the freedom of His grace.

Eucharistic Adoration: how and why?

Why spend time in Eucharistic adoration? First, to receive the graces Jesus desires to give us in this intimate encounter, and then to offer Him our love, gratitude, and worship for all His blessings.

If you do not know how to adore, begin simply: humble yourself before God, adore the Holy Trinity, give thanks, ask forgiveness, offer Him your good resolutions and sacrifices, contemplate His humility in the Eucharist, and place yourself entirely in His hands.

Even when you have no words, remaining silently before the Blessed Sacrament is never wasted time. Jesus is there. Look at Him and allow Him to look at you.

🙏 Make time this week to visit Jesus present in the Eucharist.

"Almighty God, since Saint James was the first of the Apostles to give his life for the Gospel, grant that your Church may find strength in his witness and support in his protection."

On this Feast of Saint James the Apostle, we give thanks for all those who, following his example, generously dedicate themselves to the Church's mission of evangelization. Around the world, the Cooperators of the Heralds of the Gospel strive to bring Christ to families, parishes, and communities, united in faith and under the maternal protection of Our Lady.

May Saint James obtain for us the courage to proclaim the Gospel with faith, joy, and perseverance.

Saint Charbel Makhlouf

Maronite priest and monk (1828–1898)
Feast day: 24 July

Saint Charbel was a Lebanese Maronite monk and hermit who gave his life entirely to God through silence, prayer, penance, obedience, and devotion to the Holy Eucharist.

After his death in 1898, many healings and spiritual favours were attributed to his intercession. His hidden life shows that holiness does not need worldly recognition to bear abundant fruit.

🙏 Entrust a difficult intention to Saint Charbel today and ask for healing, strength, and perseverance.

“I adore your divine perfections, O my God; I adore your divine justice! I surrender myself to it with all my heart.”
— Blessed Catherine de Saint Augustin

Born in France in 1632, Blessed Catherine entered the Augustinian hospital sisters at a young age and left for New France when she was only sixteen. At the Hôtel-Dieu of Quebec, she devoted herself to caring for the sick, serving both their physical and spiritual needs. Her life of charity, prayer, and sacrifice helped establish the Catholic faith in Canada, and she is honoured as one of the founders of the Church there.

Her words remind us that trusting God does not mean understanding everything. It means believing that His wisdom, justice, and love remain at work even amid suffering and uncertainty.

Today, place your greatest concern in the hands of the Lord and pray with confidence: “My God, I surrender myself to You with all my heart.”

Saint Mary Magdalene — First Herald of the Resurrection

"Lord our God, it was to Mary Magdalene that your beloved Son entrusted the first proclamation of Easter joy. Through her prayers and example, grant us the grace to proclaim the Risen Christ and one day to contemplate Him in your glory."

A close friend of Jesus and, according to Christian tradition, the sister of Martha and Lazarus, Saint Mary Magdalene was freed from seven demons and became one of Christ's most faithful disciples. She remained at the foot of the Cross and was the first to encounter the Risen Lord, receiving the mission to announce His Resurrection to the Apostles.

May her example inspire us to love Christ with our whole hearts, remain faithful in times of trial, and joyfully proclaim the hope of the Resurrection.
