Blessed Morning Kingdom ambassadors?

“It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” - Psalm 18:32

As I woke up this morning, I was reminded of the great power that the Lord bestows upon each and every one of us, enabling us to overcome the numerous obstacles we encounter daily. When I remembered how God granted David as a youth unimaginable powers to defeat the fearsome Goliath, I was surely comforted and strengthened.

With God on your side, no darkness will stop you from shining, and no one will block God’s plan for your life. Therefore, start your day with confidence knowing that, in God, you are an overcomer today and always!

Amen

Dealing with the spirit of Jealousy - (James 3:16)

Jealousy is an emotion that can cause harm to oneself and those around them. It is a feeling of envy or bitterness towards someone else’s success or possessions. In Christianity, jealousy is considered a sin as it goes against the values of love, kindness, and contentment.

What is jealousy and why should it be avoided?
Jealousy is a negative emotion that can lead to a variety of harmful behaviours, such as envy, anger, and resentment. It can cause individuals to become obsessed with what others have and what they lack, leading to an unfulfilling and unhappy life. Additionally, jealousy can damage relationships, as it often involves a lack of trust and insecurity. In Christianity, jealousy is considered a sin because it goes against the values of love and contentment. It is important to avoid jealousy and strive towards a mindset of gratitude and happiness for what one has.

What does the bible teach us about the consequences of jealousy?
The Bible teaches us that jealousy is a sin and can lead to destructive behaviour. In the book of Proverbs, it is stated that jealousy can lead to anger and hatred (Proverbs 6:34). The apostle Paul warns against envy and strife in Galatians 5:19-21, stating that those who practice such behaviour will not inherit the kingdom of God. Additionally, the book of James teaches that jealousy and selfish ambition can lead to disorder and every kind of evil (James 3:16).

What does the bible teach us about managing jealousy?
The Bible teaches us that we can overcome jealousy through faith and contentment. We should focus on what we have been blessed with and be grateful for it. The apostle Paul teaches in Philippians 4:11-13 that he has learned to be content in all situations, whether he has plenty or is in need. We can also pray for the strength to overcome jealousy and seek guidance from God. Additionally, we can surround ourselves with positive influences, such as friends and family who uplift us and encourage us towards a positive mindset.

Say no to Jealousy
Jealousy is a negative emotion that goes against the values of Christianity. It can lead to harmful behaviour and damage relationships. The Bible teaches us to avoid jealousy and strive towards a mindset of gratitude and contentment. Through faith and prayer, we can overcome jealousy and find peace in what we have been blessed with.

Confessions of Jesus Christ
Day 5

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished and that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”
John 19:28

Jesus Christ was thirsting for something. Though His life was coming to an end, He was thirsty. He had an appetite to do more.

Jesus spoke about being hungry and thirsting for righteousness(Matthew 5:6). What are you thirsting for? The thing you are thirsting for should drive your life. Being thirsty gives one the passion and the interest to do something.

Develop a thirst and hunger for something in your life. Let the thing you are thirsting for begin to drive your daily agenda. People today just live lousy lives. They have no passion or drive for anything. They have no agenda or vision that is driving their daily program. The thing you are thirsting for should take you to the grave if need be.

What are you thirsting for? You should be thirsty for the Word of God. You should be thirsty for prayer. You should be thirsty for knowledge. Be thirsty for fellowship with other believers. Be thirsty for soul-winning and evangelism. You can also be thirsty for studies, business and promotion in your workplace. Have a passion that is driving your daily agenda.

If you do not thirst for anything, you are likely to walk through the journey of life aimlessly

Thirst people are prepared to die for their convictions. Those who are thirsty, the Lord will quench your thirst.

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for the appetite you have given me to do great things. I pray for your grace and anointing as I pursue my appetite that pleases you in Jesus' Name.
Amen and Amen

Confessions of Jesus Christ
Day 4

When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.
John 19:26-27(nkjv)

Jesus Christ did not only come to restore our relationship with God. He also came to restore and build our relationships with one another. He came to build families.

A mother-and-son relationship was birthed at the Cross. A father-and-daughter relationship was formed at the Cross. We are now called the family of God because of the work of Jesus Christ.

Since we are sons of God, God has created a family among us. We have no reason to fight and compete with one another. We need to complement and support one another. God is not pleased to see His family fighting. God is not pleased to see a divided family.

A united family will achieve more. Those who are fighting in the family are defeating the purpose of God. They are fighting the intentions of God. God's original intention or purpose has been to build a family.

From whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.
Ephesians 3:15(nkjv)

The family of God has no racism and tribalism. God has abolished every code that promotes tribalism and racism. We are one in Christ. If you are a promoter of tribalism, you are not a member of the family.

Ethnic hatred has been dissolved by the crucifixion of his precious body on the cross. The legal code that stood condemning every one of us has now been repealed by his command. His triune essence has made peace between us by starting over—forming one new race of humanity, Jews and non-Jews fused together!
Ephesians 3:15(TPT)

Do not rewrite what God has abolished and rubbed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Father God, I thank you that I belong to your family and I'm a great beneficiary of the blessings of the family. I repent of any acts of racism and tribalism in my life. I accept every member of the family washed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus' Name.
Amen and Amen

Confessions of Jesus Christ
Day 3

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
Luke 23:43(nkjv)

Assurance of our salvation is important. Once you have given your life to Jesus Christ, you are assured of your salvation. The very moment we give our lives to God, we take our position in God's Kingdom.

Salvation happens instantly but it is also a work in progress. When you give your life to Christ, you have to keep working out your salvation with fear and trembling as the scripture advises.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12(nkjv)

After surrendering your life to Christ, you have to keep working for your salvation. If you don't work out your salvation, you might backslide.

You need to keep pushing and staying on course in your salvation.

If you are not saved, this is an opportunity to give your life to Christ. If you have backslidden, it is time to return to the Lord. Pick up your life and get back to God. How long will you keep postponing your salvation?

I also want to take this opportunity to speak to someone specifically who has abandoned the calling of God. God is calling you back to the pulpit. You have taken that path because of frustrations and disappointments. However, God's hand is still upon you and He has not abandoned you because of your experiences. Yes, many people have let you down but that is no good reason for you to abandon your calling. God wants you back. The latter part of your ministry shall be stronger and greater than the former.

Remember ye, not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for your love. I surrender myself to you and I ask you Lord to forgive me. Lord, I pray that you will restore my life in Jesus' Name.
Amen and Amen.

Confessions of Jesus Christ
Day 2

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.
Luke 23:34(nkjv)

Forgiveness was one of the greatest achievements of the Cross of Calvary. Without attaining this fate, Jesus Christ could have died in vain. We cannot talk about being sons of God if we have not received forgiveness. We experience forgiveness because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is still room at the Cross to experience forgiveness. Jesus prayed for our forgiveness. We stand forgiven of all our sins and we have been made clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. In case you are still enjoying sin and the evil things of this world, I want you to know that God is waiting for you. It doesn't matter what you have done, there is still room for you at the Cross. God is ready to forgive you once you come to Him.

Much as we have received forgiveness, we also need to forgive. The Kingdom of God is an expression of forgiveness. All of us who say we are sons of God have experienced forgiveness. You have no right to keep a grudge, hate, bitterness and unforgiveness if you have experienced forgiveness. We all get offended so that we can exercise our abilities to forgive others.

Forgiving is deliverance. If you don't forgive, you will remain in bo***ge. You will wish the people you are holding a grudge against to die, fail or something bad happens to them. You will even pray that God punishes them. However, the more you wish them bad, the more God will bless them and keep them. The more blessed they become, the more bitter you will be.

Forgive my brother. Forgive my Sister. Forgive the Man of God.

Forgiveness is for your own good.

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for forgiving me. I ask you Lord to help me to forgive those who have offended me. I forgive them and release them from my life. Set me free from being a captive of their lives in Jesus' Name.
Amen and Amen.

Confessions of Jesus Christ
Day 1

And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Matthew 27:46(nkjv)

Jesus Christ had walked with God the Father during His assignment on earth. At the pick of the assignment, Jesus felt forsaken by the Father. He had to contend with the moment of rejection.

Rejection is the feeling of not being wanted. There are many people fighting rejection in their lives from family and communities at large. Rejection is a silent killer of many people and their destinies.

It is important to know that you are not the only one going through rejection. There are individuals who think and feel like they are the only ones going through rejection. We all experience rejection. Many of us have experienced rejection from different angles. We have been rejected by our families, friends, classmates, workmates and many more. We experience rejection from our fellow country men and women. We face rejection from our fellow ministers of the gospel. Jesus was not only rejected by the Father but by those He came to save.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
John 1:11

Jesus Christ had to go through this rejection so that we can be accepted. He was the sacrificial lamb for our rejection.

It is possible for you to live in rejection for the rest of your life. However, you can overcome rejection and be free from it completely and permanently.

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. I ask you Lord to deliver me from rejection. Lord, I pray that you heal me from the effects of rejection. I accept that Jesus Christ was rejected so I should be accepted. I receive acceptance. Heal me Lord from rejection and all its effects in Jesus' Name.
Amen and Amen.
