The Bible declares that God inhabits the praises of His people. It's true He is with us in trouble, but if we allow doubt and unbelief to dominate our minds and the words we speak, we will not be alert or in tune to recognise His deliverance - even if it's right in front of us. That’s why we must choose to praise Him! Our praise directs our focus straight onto the Lord and the truth of His Word. It saturates our minds and hearts with the atmosphere of heaven and builds our faith. This way we begin to see with eyes of faith and not fear. We begin to speak in agreement with God's promises and not the enemy's plan for our destruction. Choosing to praise God in all things causes us to draw strength from the truth that we KNOW: He is with us. Praise is the language of faith and the only appropriate response for every believer - in every circumstance. We don't praise God for the circumstance - we praise Him in it - knowing He has the power to deliver us and is doing just that while we praise Him. Today, choose to praise the Lord at all times - no matter what - and watch His deliverance
