Yesterday afternoon more than 100 kids from Pellsrus received sweets donated by residents from the Marina, Madiba Bay, Aston Bay and Pellsrus. The third annual sweets drive was a huge success and sweets are still being received. The distribution took place in the El- Shaddai Pentecostal Protestant Church. In the next few days, sweets will also be distributed in Madiba Bay, in the Aston Bay caravan park and among homeless children. The Marina, whose brainchild the project is, expressed its appreciation for the great support. "Residents care and that fact that this is a combined effort from various communities, makes it a remarkable action."
