Currently reading: "Ducks Can't Attend Eagle School" by John C. Maxwell. This book emphasizes the importance of recognizing individual strengths and talents. The book uses the metaphor of ducks and eagles to illustrate that everyone has unique abilities and trying to force someone to fit into a role that doesn't suit them can be counterproductive.

We want to congratulate Matt Nortje from the FGC East Lynne assembly for being elected to represent South Africa in the Olympic team. I had the privilege to pray with him on Sunday alongside his pastor. We, as a church, are very proud of him and wish him well as he departs for Paris.
