It’s been a full and meaningful season in the life of our church lately.

We are sad to be saying goodbye to our dear Amber, who is heading back to the Eastern Cape to be closer to her family as she recovers from a health issue. Please keep her in your prayers during this time.

We also had the joy of dedicating baby Sophie, praying over her as Tim & Megs invite accountability and support in their journey as parents.

And as a church, we are stepping into an important season—our leadership team may be growing, as we put forward some faithful men for possible eldership.

May the Lord continue to lead us, guide us, and grow us together.

This week we had the privilege of celebrating a very special moment as Paul and Carol were baptised.

A beautiful step of faith and a powerful declaration of new life in Christ.

We celebrate with you both and pray God’s continued blessing over your journey ahead.

We recently sent out a very excited team to Komatipoort, where we had the privilege of serving and pouring into a local church.

This weekend was incredibly stretching for many on the team who were experiencing their very first outreach — and yet, it was amazing to see how God moves when we lay down our comforts and choose to serve.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to love, serve, and grow together.

As the Body of Christ, we are made up of many people—each one vital, each one playing an important role. Every part matters.

We were never created to live in isolation. We were made for community, for connection, and for purpose together.

There is such power in a testimony.

It reminds us of God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and the incredible work He continues to do in the lives of His people.

Testimonies lift our faith, stir our hope, and encourage every one of us.

And wow… we’ve seen some truly amazing testimonies coming through lately! God is moving.

Our Hoedspruit and Kampersrus congregations came together this past Sunday for a joint service where new relationships were forged and existing connections strengthened.

A time of fellowship and worship were followed by the sharing of exciting updates on the Hoedspruit church building which was met with much applause and enthusiasm.

It is always such a treat when both congregations are under one roof, and the joy and familial love are easy to see!

Sunday service is just a small part of the life of The Lighthouse Church. We find such joy in gathering together through the week to enjoy fellowship, prayer and sometimes even bacon rolls.

We had such a wonderful weekend with special guests visiting us all the way from Joshua Generation Church, a partnering church in Four12Global.

Thank you to Anthony and his wife Laurian from Milnerton, who shared their hearts on leading a community group and gave us such valuable, practical tools to take forward into our meetings.

On Sunday, the Hoedspruit and Kampersrus congregations came together as Jacques du Toit from Sunningdale shared what the Lord had put on his heart for us. A big thank you as well to his lovely wife Janette, who brought a beautiful word of encouragement for Lighthouse.

The Kingdom is advancing!
