Ukhanyo Lwethemba

Ukhanyo Lwethemba Ukhanyo Lwethemba Church is a Bible-based, Gospel-centred church in Zwelihle, Hermanus. We meet at 10am on Sundays mornings at 9157 Uthando Street, Zwelihle.

Zwelihle is a predominantly Xhosa community but our church is attended by people from different communities, nations and cultures. The preaching is in English and is translated into Xhosa. Our children’s ministry, Idangatye, takes place at 9am every Sunday. Our life group is on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at the church venue and we have a combined prayer meeting with Live the Life Church and Mount Ple

asant Gemeente every Monday evening at 5.45pm. Once a month we have a Friday Fire evangelism at the church venue. We serve soup or boerewors rolls to passersby and engage with them about the Gospel, literally around a fire. There is also a Friday Fun program for the children at 6.30pm on these evenings.
