There are moments in life when the winds roar and waves rise high, when everything you built is shaken and uncertain. But the Spirit of the Lord says, I am in the midst of the storm. The storm does not mean God has left you; it means it is time for God to reveal Himself in a new dimension. The disciples saw the wind as a threat, but Jesus saw it as an opportunity to demonstrate His power. What looks like chaos to you may be the very stage where God wants to show His glory. “Then he turned to his disciples and said to them, = Mark 4:40 TPT. The enemy wants you to be afraid, to believe that the storm is greater than your destiny. Yet, every storm that rises against you can be silenced by faith. Remember, the presence of the storm does not cancel the presence of Jesus. Even when it feels like Jesus is silent, He is still in your boat. When you keep your eyes on Him in faith, the storm loses its strength. No matter what you’re going through, you will not drown—you are about to witness divine intervention.

We truly live in a time where many are looking for techniques to attract crowds rather than hearts. Too often, churches are turning into places of entertainment, and Scripture is reduced to motivational quotes instead of the living Word that convicts, corrects, and calls us to live righteously.
The gospel was never meant to entertain us it was meant to transform us. God's Word may not always make us comfortable, but it always leads us to holiness.
We need a change. A return to Scripture. A return to teaching that calls for repentance, obedience, and a life fully surrendered to Christ. Not watered down. Not shaped for applause. But preached in truth and reverence.

Our prayer is that we hunger again for the pure Word of God truth that changes lives, not just messages that fill seats. Amen.

The story of Saul and David reveals a profound truth about what lifts a person and what brings a person down. God does not raise men based on talent, appearance, or position; He raises those whose hearts align with His. This is why Saul fell and David was lifted. Saul never truly knew the heart of God, but David lived in deep awareness of it. Saul feared people and obeyed their voices, but David feared the Lord and followed His voice above all else. Saul chased after the honor of men, seeking recognition and validation, while David’s pursuit was to honor God alone. Saul’s heart was stubborn and resistant, but David carried a broken and contrite spirit—one that God never despises (Psalm 51:17). Where Saul was hasty and impatient, David learned to wait on God until the appointed time. These differences were not small—they shaped their destiny. Saul’s downfall did not begin with a moment but with the condition of his heart. David’s rising did not begin with a crown but with his posture before God. One was brought low because of pride, stubbornness, fear of man, and haste. The other was raised because of humility, surrender, reverence, and patience. God still raises those who pursue Him, honor Him, fear His voice above all, and remain humble and patient in every season. The heart that mirrors David’s is the heart God entrusts with influence and victory.

Whoever God anointed in the Scriptures emerged victorious. However, for you to experience victory, you must be conscious of the anointing upon you. The absence of revelation of the oil upon you is the absence of victory. The reason why believers often face defeat is because they are yet to live in the consciousness of the anointing. In 1 Samuel 17:26, David, standing before the giant Goliath, said: “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” In ancient times, circumcision was a sign of the anointing. David was confident that the Lord would give him victory against the giant because he was conscious that he was anointed and Goliath was not. David defeated the giant with the revelation that victory follows only the anointed not the physically strong and powerful. Similarly, do not forget you are anointed when you pass through the fire. Defeat every giant you are facing knowing that you are anointed. In this season, you are undefeatable because of the oil upon your head.

God's favor opens doors, brings opportunities, and grants a blessed life, combating negativity and insecurity. Those who follow God can anticipate His blessing in their lives. This is part of His faithfulness towards you, His child.
A shield is a picture of safety and security.
Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's favour and protection for believers.

Lord, what a joy it is to know that You encompass me with Your protection, favour and provision. I will trust in Your divine protection and I will hold on to Your promise of blessing and favour. Amen.

God's love surrounds ys, giving ys strength for whatever lies ahead.
His mercy is fresh every morning, ensuring we never run out of His grace.
New beginnings are safe because they rest on His unchanging faithfulness.
He will sustain and guide us.

Let's Pray...
Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and new mercies each day. Help us not to fear new beginnings but to trust in Your faithfulness. Amen.
