Hallo NAPS community. I know it has been long since we last communicated. I woke up this morning inspired to start communicating with you. A lot has happened over the years. I am sure that some of you have made huge strides in your lifes, completed your degrees and even taken postgraduate studies, gotten married, employed, started your own businesss enjoying the companionship of the fiancé of your youth, etc...etc... I am sure that for some of you I am now a grandfather with those beautiful grand children around you. Whatever achievement God allowed in your life I am truly thankful to God on your behalf. I am once again reminded of our resilient commitment we used to have to the gospel commission. It was our life and our Creed. Like Paul some of you received the Lord on our Missionary journeys. Not only did we memorise scripture we passionately shared with the ignorant and the dying world. You could say we were a group born with the gospel bounty on our heads. Thinking of all this has just once excited and yet humbled me to remind, motivate and challenge you that the mission is not yet over. Recently I was doing a morning devotion on the scene were Jesus had an encounter with the Samaritan Woman at Jacobs well. (Luke Chapter 4) After that personal ministry and the disciples having returned from buying food, asked the Master to eat. In His response Jesus said my meat is to do the will of the Father who has sent me. Seeing that the disciples first marvelled the sight of the woman in the presence of Christ and wanting them to get the bigger picture the Master then pointed them to the fields that were "white and ready for harvesting..." I pray that the Lord may once again throw us our as harvesters to those whitened fields. I am also aware that maybe some of our foot soldiers got wearied and discouraged along the way. I just want to humble say to you the journey is not yet over, the battle is still raging on. I pray I and many others would be ready to lift you up carry you through and once you healed and back on your feet and you could fight the enemy. The battle is not ours. It is the Lords. Therefore it's not by our power noh by our might but by His Spirit says the Lord. I want us to reconnect brothers and sisters. Whatever pics or memory you might have I want you to prayerfully share it and throw in a motivation as God's Spirit touches you, recommits you and raises you up for the battle ahead. Once again good morning NAPS soldier.

Naps @ Sedaven has now been asked to operate under Junior Church Board. This means there are no more meetings on Tuesdays and Friday mornings. If we have to meet it must be a Junior Church Board meeting not a NAPS meeting. We now report to the JCB. Hence this weekend when we come to Orlando East we come as JCB or as Sedaven High School not as NAPS. We will have 4 NAPS members in uniform, 2 members in school uniform, 2 in church clothes. We do not know which approach we should take. Currently we will do what the Principal want to avoid the complete desolution of NAPS. We will pray and seek the Lord for guidance. Please share this development with other NAPS members and ask them to pray for the Lords guidance in this issue.

Dear Chantel,

My name is Brian Tsikada, my membership is with Golden Harvest SDA church in Ferndale and am ordained elder of the SDA church. I was the second elder for Golden Harvest in 2010.

I was a chaplain for Wits Universtiy SDA organization for 2009 and 2011. My work involved working with Wits University leadership and the general student body to guide and lead out on all adminstrative iss...ues as well as to provide direction in order to execute evangelistic initiatives/objectives. Wits SDA body is under Golden Harvest adminstration.

I confirm that Vaughan Perry is a faithful member of the Wits SDA student body. I fact, this year 2012, he has been elected to be the Student leader for the whole SDA Wits group. In other words, he is the main contact between Golden Harvest leadership and the campus and also spearheads all programming and operations of the whole student body, beside presiding over the studnet executive council when chaplain/elder pastor are absent.

I have copied the Golden Harvest leadership, church clerks & chaplain for 2012 in the this email. Should you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact.

Dear Elders

I am writing on behalf of Voughan Perry the Preacher that NAPS has identified to preach on the day indicated above. Mr Perry i s currently a student at WITS University and attends church with the rest of Adventist Students at the Wits Campus. His involvement in the church is as follows: He assists in the music department and is the current President of SDASM [Seventh Day Adventist Stu...dents Movement]. The reason why I am also writing on his behalf is because he is also a member and one of the leaders in our Outreach and Missionaries group based here at Sedaven High School in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Having worked with him in our Local and international missionary trips I recommend him to be used for the task indicated above on the 28/01/2012. Having visited the Students Church at Wits and seen his involvement in the church I can say with surerity that Mr Perry is in good and regular standing at his church.

I have requested one of the Elders at Golden Harvest who is the Chaplain for the Wits Students Church to also write a letter to this effect. I do hope that this information will be helpful in the discussions you will have regarding the preacher for the Sabbath of the 28th of January 2012 on which NAPS has been invited to be responsible of.

Yours in the Lords VineYard and battle field.

Stephen Sibanda. [NAPS President, Elder and Deputy Principal Sedaven High School Church]
