Daneil chapter 9
in this chapter, Daniel prayed for himself, his family, the israelites,his brothers and sisters in christ, for they have lost their ways and rituals that were to be maid by a christian for they belonged to Christ our Lord.
They have sinned befor the lord and did the opposite of what the father in haeven. They refused to follow the word God spoke through his prophets and teachings from their prophets. Instead they went their ways and not the ways God prepared for them.
They refused to follow God orders and comandments, but he remembers in the times of Moses that God himself said it that all evil shall follow you, because the devil had followed and mislead the people of God in many ways he could.
Daniel kept on confessing and esivuma isono sakhe and kept on confessing for he did not just pray for himself, he prayed for the others who lost their way until he reched a point and these words in the verses before Gabriel came to him with an answer to Daniels prayer
Daniel 9:17-19 (xhosa bible):
¹⁷kaloku ke, Thixo wethu kuphulaphule ukuthandaza komkhonzi wakho, nokutarhuzisa kwakhe, ubukhanyise phezu kwengcwele yakho elinxuwa ubuso bakho, ngenxa yeNkosi.
¹⁸Thoba indlebe yakho uve. Vula amehlo akho ubone ukuphanza kwethu, nomzi lowo ubizwa ngegama lakho. Ngokuba akungenxa yemisebenzi yethu yobulungisa esiwisa ekutarhuzisa kwethu phambi kwakho ;kungenxa yemfesane zakho ezininzi.
¹⁹ Nkosi, yiva, Nkosi, xolela, Nkosi baza indlebe, wenze. Ngenxa yakho Thixo wam, musa ukulibala, kuba umzi wakho nabantu bakho babizwa ngegama lakho.
Apha uyehova uveza inceba yakhe kwabantu bakhe ngoba nguye umdali wento zonke ezisemhlabeni , nazo Iziphumo Kolulahleko lwama srayeli. Masihlaleni emthandazweni ngoba impendulo ka Gabriel awthulelwa nguthixo ithi umzi nengcwele zotshatyalaliswa ngabantu beganga eza kuza, kuya kuba yimfazwe. Luphanziswa olumiswe laqitywa eli.
