DIE PATATHUISIE

Die Patathuisie was die eerste huis wat Eerw. Charles August Pacalt (Eerste Sendeling) saam met die Khoi-bevolking vir hom gebou het. Toe Pacalt in 1813 aangekom het, was daar geen permanente strukture hier nie, so Pacalt het sy huis begin beplan.

In 1815 bou Pacalt vir hom 'n tweevertrekhuis in Missionstraat (soos dit nou bekend staan). Die naam Patathuisie kom van die feit dat Pacalt die bevolking van Hooggekraal geleer het om in die veld te werk en aandklasse in sy huis aangebied.

Op Sondag 16 April 2023 het die jeug die kerkdiens gelei. Hulle het die dinge bietjie anders aangepak. Die tema vir die dag was "Career Day" so hulle het spreker van verskeie beroepe gehad.

Ons sê dankie vir die jeug asook elke spreker wat ons so goed kom leer het dat ons enige iets kan doen deur Hom wat ons krag gee!
