Thanksgiving 2021

Dear Members,
I trust that you are all well and excited as I am for Thanksgiving. I need to inform you that the funeral service for sister Beverly Julies (wife of Priest Johan Julies) will be this Saturday at 09H00.

With this in mind we will start with church cleaning from 10H30- 14H30. Kindly note that for those who unable to attend divine services you may bring your offerings anytime between 10H30 - 14H30. Just as a reminder that we will have two divine services on Sunday. 08H00 for section 1 - 5 and 10H00 for section 6 - 10.

Dear members I would like to inform you of a devastating fire which occurred last night in Ravensmead. Approximately 15 wendy houses were destroyed and tragically , 3 people lost their lives.
Of our members have also been affected and my request is if possible we could assist these members and those who have lost everything. The immediate need is for food clothing household utensils blankets etc.
We have arranged for a drop off point for any donations at no.5 Marrigold Street by Sister Susanna Mchelm.

Dear members due to the recent ammendments to the COVID 19 regulations please be informed of the changes to our divine services with immediate effect.

1. All divine services scheduled for Saturday's will stop

2. From this Sunday morning 19th September sections 1 to 5 are invited to attend the divine service @ 9am.

3. The following Sunday morning 26th sections 6 to 10 are invited to attend the divine service @ 9am

4. On the 3rd October (Thanksgiving Day) our congregation will have 2 divine services ......

@ 8 am - Sections 1 to 5 will attend the service
@ 10 am - Sections 6 to 10 will attend the service

5. Please note that members that would not be in a position to attend the service, could place their Thanksgiving offerings in the offering boxes on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

6. All members are welcome to assist with church cleaning and the bringing of fruit, vegetables and tin food from 9am to 11am. on Saturday morning.
