The OSL is a Community of Christian Healing Ministers. This is our focused mission and ministry. OSL.

The Order of Saint Luke is a Christ-centered, international and inter-denominational healing ministry comprised of clergy and laity who belong to healing communities (both in person and on-line). Members share in fellowship and learning to receive and grow in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father. As we are being healed through Jesus C

hrist, we are also being trained to offer prayer in our communities and beyond. We welcome Christians from all churches to join with us in this mission. The OSL in South Africa

The Order of St Luke (OSL) has been around in some form or other since 1932 and in a range of countries. In the 1940s and 50s there was a vibrant ministry of the Order of St Luke in Kearsney, KZN called "The Healing Homes of Africa", pioneered by the Rev'd Edward Winckley DD. Presently there is one OSL Healing Community in South Africa; the Community of Christ the Healer ( https://www.christthehealer.org.za ), which comes together to study, pray and share fellowship. Its founder, Anders and Kate Litzell, have been members of the Order of St Luke since 2019. Membership in the OSL is personal and open to be discerned by anyone. A few days before I received this book I was diagnosed with a debilitating disease that is not curable by medical science at this time. I am on a journey and my daily meditation includes reading a concept and working through the questions at the end. I Trust God heals and now I am more confident in my Faith that God will heal me. Best of all I am not beating myself up because as is pointed out in the book -- I am not nearly as perfect as Jesus Christ and He is the only one who knows God completely. Highly recommend this book!

I feel I have found some nuggets of truth and perspective that help me more fully understand what the Bible tells me/us about the human experience. Nuggets that make up and add to the house of beliefs that bring me closer to the Lord Jesus.
