Kamala Harris says Africa’s future will shape the world. By 2050, one in four people on Earth is expected to live on the continent—highlighting Africa’s rapidly growing influence in global economics, culture, and innovation. With a median age of about 19, Africa has the youngest population in the world, creating enormous potential through a rising workforce, expanding markets, and new ideas across sectors like technology and agriculture.
However, this demographic advantage must be matched with strong investment in education, infrastructure, and economic opportunities. Without it, the promise of this growth could turn into a challenge. Africa’s trajectory will not only define the continent’s future but also play a major role in shaping the global economy.
