On “the place of a skull”, Golgotha, Jesus was crucified between two thieves. There, Jesus was mocked by the surrounding crowd, religious leaders, Roman soldiers, and even one of the thieves who hung next to him. But in that moment of mockery, something stirred in the heart of the second thief – faith. The repentant thief rebuked the other guilty thief and defended the innocence of Christ! How difficult it can be to soften your heart when you have lived with it closed to God for so long. And yet this thief found the courage, at the very end of his life, to place his life in the hands of another dying man.

On what grounds does this man experience the grace and saving power of Christ? If the Author of Hebrews had time in chapter 11, would he have added his name to the "Hall of Faith"? Joins us this Friday night as we look at the faith of the Repentant thief on the cross.

Wow, would you believe it that we are in Term 3 already. We thank God for the times behind us and the Journeys of learning and growth we went thru. This Term 3 we will seek to address what we call *"HEART TOPICS"*, as we look into God's word how to deal with all the issues and hardships we go through, As we look to faithfully live out the Christian faith. So come Ready to Feast in God sufficient word in all Things and circumstances 2 Tim 3:16-17.

Week 7: We back at it again...Hearing the Spirit of God speak to us the Word of God through the people of God ought to be our experience every time we gather. This can happen through the
biblically-faithful songs, through the skillful exposition of God’s Word, and through conversations with other believers where our sin is exposed, God’s Word is explained, and our particular needs are addressed.
God still speaks. Gathering with the church isn’t about the words we want to say to God. It’s about listening to the Word He has given us. The Spirit of God fills the mouths of His congregation with His Word. Join us this Friday as Pastor Ben Harvey expounds this more.

Week 6: What’s Better Than Jesus Beside You? are we even allowed to ask such a question? God has always desired a close and personal presence with his people, but we do not relate to God as if he is a dynamic, personal Presence in their lives. Jesus made some truly astounding promises about the Holy Spirit — ones so astounding, in fact, it is tempting to not even take them seriously. He told his disciples that if they understood what was being offered to them in the Holy Spirit, they would have been glad he was returning to heaven if that meant getting the Spirit (John 16:7).
