_Sayyiduna Jabir رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:_

*“Verily, Satan places his throne over the water and he sends out his troops.*

*The closest to him in rank are the greatest at causing tribulations.*

*One of them says: I have done this and this.Satan says: You have done nothing.*

*_Another one says: I did not leave this man alone until I separated him from his wife. Satan embraces him and he says: You have done well.”_*

*(1)* Engage in fervent Duaa, especially for those oppressed in Gazza, Sudan, Syria, Kashmir, India and throughout the globe.
*(2)* Recite Suratul Kahf
*(3)* Recite abundant Salaat & Salaam (Salutations) on our Beloved Nabi Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.

_Sayyidatuna Aa'isha رضي الله عنها reported: "Nabi ﷺ said:_ *'The nikah/marriage with the greatest blessing, is the one of the least expenditure/expenses.'”*

_Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (RadiyAllahu anhu) narrated : "Nabi‎ ﷺ said_ *' When anyone of you enters the Masjid, he should perform two Rakaah (Nafl Tahiyyatul Masjid, if appropriate) before sitting down.'"*

_Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ reported that "Rasulullah ﷺ said:_ *'Whoever recites Surah Haa-Meem Ad-Dukhaan on the night of Jummuah (i.e. Thursday night), then his sins will be forgiven.'"*

_"I asked the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) about a lost camel that comes to my water (troughs) that I have prepared for my own camels - will I be rewarded if I give it some water to drink?_ *He ﷺ said: Yes, in every living being there is reward.'"*

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (رضي الله عنه) told Zayd ibn Wahb (رحمه الله تعالى),

_“O Zayd ibn Wahb! Do not let Jumu’ah pass without invoking one thousand salutations upon Nabi (ﷺ). You should say:_

اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.”

Today being the blessed day of Jumu'ah, let us:

*(1)* Recite us recite Suratul Kahf.

Hazrat Aboo Quataadah ابو قتادة
رضى الله تعالى عنه
narrates that
رسول الله صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم
was asked about, fasting on the day of 'Arafah (عرفة)
(9th of Zul Hijjah).

He صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم said:

It expiates the (minor) sins of the past year, and the coming year.

(Muslim Shareef)

The ninth of Zul Hijjah, is a day of great blessings.

In a narration, it is mentioned that:

The most virtuous of days, is the day of 'Arafah.

In a narration of, Tirmizee Shareef, it is mentioned that:

There is no day, in which الله تعالى frees more of His servants, from Hellfire, than the day of 'Arafah.

The following Du'aa, should be made in abundance, on this day:

لا الاه الا الله، وحده لاشريك له، له الملك وله الحمد، و هو على كل شيء قدير.

This fast is not recommended for those performing Hajj.

It will deprive them of the strength, needed to perform, Zikr, Talbiyah, Du'aa, etc etc.

Hazrat Huzayfah (حذيفة) رضى الله تعالى عنه narrates:
When
رسول الله صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم
retired to bed at night, he would place his (right) hand, beneath his (right) cheek, thereafter he would supplicate:
اللهم بإسمك اموت و أحيا
O الله! In Your name, I die and I live.
And when he would awaken, he would supplicate:
الحمد لله الذى أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا و إليه النشور
All praises are due to الله تعالى, Who brought us to life, after making us die, and to Him is the rising.

(Bukhaaree Shareef)

Initially, the right palm should be under the right cheek, when going to sleep. The posture changes thereafter.
Sleep is likened to death, because one is not aware of the surroundings.
