𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝗼𝘆

On Sunday 14 June 2026 the district rector Timothy van Rooyen conducted the divine service in Vosloorus Proper congregation.

The Priest Isaac M***a served along.

𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲
We serve in the joy that Christ is near us.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
■ Christians are called to serve God joyfully in the church.
■ When we serve, let us be aware that we are serving both God and our neighbour.
■ When we serve with enthusiasm, our witness can be inviting.
■ The deepest source of our joy is the nearness of Jesus Himself.

The district rector invited some orchestra members from the district to accompany him, in order to support the launch of the Jamboree Project.

After the divine service, the members supported the young people fundraiser drive - sale of preloved clothing items.

On Saturday, 13 June 2026, the young people of 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴 + 𝗩𝗼𝘀𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 congregations gathered at the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve for an early morning hike - all in preparation for the upcoming
#​🇩​​🇦​​🇷​​🇪​2️⃣​🇨​​🇦​​🇷​​🇪​2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣

Joined by their pastoral leaders, the group had a great experience - enjoying a funfilled fellowship excursion in nature!

Priest Daryl Jacobs was called to serve along.

The confirmands, their parents, their rectors and teachers were all in attendance.

Alberton, Edenpark, South Hills, and Towerby combined with Mayberry Park.

Vosloorus Proper and Ext 14 combined with Katlehong.

The rector Bongani Mabuza conducted the divine service in Katlehong.
Priest Michael Nyirenda was called to serve along.

𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁

On Wednesday 03 June 2026, the district rector Timothy van Rooyen conducted the midweek divine service in Edenpark, at the home of the Solomon family.

𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁
Isaiah 28:16
"Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.” (NKJV)

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲
Jesus Christ gives us security.

We live in an unstable world. Many people are confused because they no longer know whom to trust. Others are discouraged or worried about the future. In this context, the Holy Spirit reminds us that God has given us a solid and unshakeable foundation in Jesus
Christ. In Him, we can find peace and security.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
■ In Christ, we have a solid foundation.

■ His word and love are unchanging, His grace is perfectly effective, and His authority is absolute.

■ Let us trust Him, love Him, and seek His grace.
