"O my Strength, I sing praise to you; You, O God, are my Fortress, my loving God." - Ps 59:17 - in this verse, David addresses God as 'Strength'. This is only one of many names given to Almighty God. When we focus on Him instead of our problems and stresses, He lifts the weight of the burden bearing doen on you. There is great comfort in knowing that He cares about you and your problems and that He will help you through them.

"who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" - Matt 6:27. It drains energy, joy and time, to mention a few. First, talk to God about your worries. Second, take time to read His Word! Then you will find great calmness and contentment.

Ons selbyeenkoms was vanaand so besonders! Dit was in die vorm van getuienisse!' Wow! Ons elkeen het weereens onder die besef gekom hoe groot en goed en liefdevol en genadig Abba Vader is teenoor Sy kinders! Wanneer ons ons harte en lewens oorgee aan die ENIGSTE ware God, maak Hy ons paaie gelyk, sorg Hy vir ons, laat Hy als ten goede meewerk!

ABBA Vader se liefde vir ons is so groot!!! Jes 30:18 - "En tog wag die Here nog altyd vir n kans om jullr te wys hoe goed Hy vir julle is. Hy is reg om enige oomblik in te gryp omdat Hy julle jammer kry, want die Here is n God wat reg laat geskied. Dit gaan goed met elkeen wat op Hom vertrou." - Watter groot genadige God is Hy nie!!! Niks wat ons verkeerd doen, kan ons skei van Sy liefde vir jou en my nie.!

"Laat almal wat dors het, hier na die water toe kom....... Ek wil met julle n vaste ooreenkoms sluit. Ek wil vir julle alles gee wat Ek vir Dawid belowe het. Ek het hom n getuie gemaak vir die nasies....Vra wat die Here van julle wil he, terwyl dit nog moontlik is. Bid tot die Here noudat Hy naby is. Die goddelose moet die verkeerde manier waarop hy lewe, laat staan. Die sondaar moet afsien van sy verkeerde gedagtes. Hy moet na die Here toe terugkom. Die Here sal hom graag terug ontvang. Ons God sal hom alles vergewe" - Ps 55:1-6

One of the amazing effects the death of Jesus had on a non-believer, was a centurion and others with him. After yielding up His Spirit, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, rocks were split, -graves opened and bodies of saints came out, went into Jerusalem and appeared to many people. All this were seen by the Centurion and people with him. They had reverential fear and said: "This was truly the Son of God"! And then they believed. How many non-believers will have the opportunity to say this when He returns on the clouds?.Every eye will see Him - no doubt about that!

Singles4Christ het vanaand n baie spesiale selbyeenkoms gehad. Ons het eers Sy Naam grootgemaak m lofprysing en daar was getuienisse en daarna n dvd gekyk oor die waarheid agter paasvieringe! Hoe die gees van verleiding die Christelike kerke ingesypel het en mense se oe verblind! Billy Ely het vir ons n wonderlike lering gegee oor die Pasga en 4 bekers! Hierna het ons nagmaal geniet en die Gees van JHWH het ons besoek. Ons is honger vir nog en sien uit na die volgende geleentheid!

When Yahshua (Jesus) suggested to His disciples to go to the other side of the lake, He knew very well that a storm would appear. It was evening. A storm at night can be more frightening than a storm in day time! The boat rocked heavily. The water spilled over into the boat! Our problems / crisis / fears seem worse at night than in the day. The disciples called on Him!' And He responded!! When your worries / problems / anxieties keep you awake at night, call on our Saviour and Councillor! HE WILL RESPOND!

We read in Mark 4 how the disciples became fearful of the storm at sea. Although their Saviour and Teacher was with them in the same boat, they feared the storm and concerned about their safety. What was Yahshua doing? Sleeping whilst the storm was raging! They woke him. "Please do something! Don't you care what happens to us?" He then calls the storm to be still! - He tells you and me to be still in the midst of our own 'personal storm' and to know that He is our God! Our Protector!
