Luke 1:14
John will be a joy and delight to you( parents) & many will rejoice because of his birth( community)
v15 John will be great in the sight of the Lord.
v16 John will bring back many of the people of Israel to their God.
v17 John will go before the Lord...to turn the hearts of the parents to their children, the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous - to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
1. What's your purpose here on earth& are you living it?
2.Are you a joy and gladness to your family, friends, colleagues, church, school, community , neighbors and others?
3. Are you a reconciler or a divider?
4. how do you live, relate to those around you?
See your life as ordered by God Himself not circumstances.
Understanding your purpose brings a deep seated peace that circumstances can't take away.
Be a blessing- a messenger who helps others to find their way- a safe net.
Don't a bitter, hateful, grumpy, unforgiving person or a thorn but a delight ,somebody that can calm the storm for people.
Abide in God's presence, cultivate a heart of gratitude so that your peace, light is visible & encourages others, point them a way to Jesus (Matthew 5:16).
