Today we celebrate Founders Day at Mokopane Destiny Academy—a day to honour a man who received a blueprint from God and aligned his life to build on the ground what he had seen.
Today, we celebrate 19 years of the work of God. We are deeply thankful for every special memory, every milestone, and the gift of accurate and clear leadership.
We remember the planting of the baobab tree and the prophetic words of Dr Jonathan: “I hear the footsteps of young families coming to this place.” We remember the foundations of the Cube being laid, and the unforgettable “wows!” from our students on the day we moved into our new school building.
What began with just 12 students has grown to almost 150 students today! What a testimony of faith, obedience, perseverance and the goodness of God.
Today, we are thankful for the vision of a man and a woman, for the transfer of legacy, and for the Destiny Alive family.
Together, as MDA and Destiny Alive, we have already impacted the lives of countless students, parents and teachers—and there is so much more to come.
We look ahead with anticipation to the years ahead, knowing that the best is still being built.
Happy Founders Day! Here’s to 19 years of legacy, vision, faith and fruitfulness—and to many more years of building what God has shown.
