Persuant to the adjusted level 1 restrictions announced by the President today, The official position of the GFA is still the same that the Passover Celebrations must be held at branch level with strict adherence to Covid 19 health protocols. The number of congregants must not exceed the national quotas. 250 inside worshipping temples and 500 in the open. Screening, taking temperature and hand sanitization must not be compromised. Branches the status quo remains. Each branch will continue to host its Good Friday celebration according to how they prepared. Alert level 1 observed.

Hereunder please find the standard Program for Good Friday to be used a a guide to all branches in the Gauteng Province. The program must be in line with the operations of the branch.

Thursday: Youth service and sacrifice: 15h00 till 17h00
Friday: 10h00 till 13h00
Saturday:13h00 till 15h00
Sunday: 09h30 till 14h00
Catering it's the responsibility of each branch leader to manage it.

*COVID-19 CRUCIAL INFORMATION*

◉ Due to the collapse of the health system, we, the health professionals, have prepared this message for the people, in case you do not want to risk going to the hospital immediately;

◉ Symptoms appear from the third day after infection (viral symptoms).
➙ 1st phase;
◉ Body pain
◉ Eye pain
◉ Headache
◉ vomiting
◉ Diarrhea
Runny nose or nasal congestion
◉ Decomposition
◉ Burning eyes
◉ Burning when urinating
◉ Feeling feverish
◉ Scuffed throat (sore throat)
➙ It is very important to count the days of symptoms: 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
◉ Take action before the onset of fever.
◉ Be careful, it is very important to drink plenty of fluids, especially purified water. Drink plenty of water to keep your throat moist and to help clear your lungs.

➙ 2nd phase; (from 4th to 8th day) inflammatory.
◉ Loss of taste and / or smell
◉ Fatigue with minimal effort
◉ Chest pain (rib cage)
