At this time of the year, we thank You that Christmas is drawing near, the time when we celebrate hthe coming of God into the world in human form... born as a baby in a dirty smelly shed, ignored and despised by most, and welcomed and worshiped by few.
Lord, may we take time to prepare ourselves for your coming. Take away everything that gets in the way of a simple life that is clearly focused on You. Have Your way in us. May You have smooth access to the depths of our being.
So, Lord even amidst all the shopping, the countdown to the final last posting days before Christmas may we not forget the fact that it really is all about You.
