This morning at Hanover Community Church…

It may have been a quieter gathering than usual, but what a special morning it was.

We began by standing together, hands joined around the heater, committing our time to the Lord in prayer. We were then deeply challenged and encouraged by Grant Walters’ message (on line), which stirred our hearts and reminded us again of how BIG our God really is!

As the final song played, we simply remained seated, allowing the words and God’s presence to settle deeply within us. Sometimes the most meaningful moments come in the quiet.

As we prepared to leave, someone gently blew out the candle and said, “Only God is great.”

What a fitting reminder to take into the week ahead.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. God is always at work, and we are grateful for His faithfulness.

Only God is great.

What a beautiful Pentecost Sunday together 🤍🔥

Our hearts are full after such a meaningful morning gathered as a community around God’s Word. A very special thank you to the three precious people who shared Scriptures that have deeply shaped and carried them through different seasons of life.

Your honesty, courage, and willingness to share from the heart truly blessed our community. There is something incredibly powerful about hearing how God’s Word becomes alive and personal in the lives of ordinary people.

We left encouraged, strengthened, and deeply aware that God is moving among us in this community.

“His word is the lamp to our feet and the light to our path.” 🤍

This Sunday we’re gathering for a beautiful Family Celebration Service at 9:30am, and while it’s Mother’s Day, it’s so much more than that — a moment to honour and celebrate all women and the love that shapes our lives and community.

I’m especially excited to have a special message and we trust it will be meaningful, encouraging, and full of heart.

We came in ready—and left even better!
Rick shared a powerful word, “The Good News or the Bad News”… He unpacked the heart of salvation—the best news ever delivered, and the only news that truly changes everything!

So here’s the question… are you carrying the good news today? 😄What a morning. What a message. What a joy to be together!
