Ephesians 2:4-5,8-9(KJV) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

By the vicarious sacrifice {death, burial and resurrection} of Christ which was the triumph over sin is offered today the forgiveness of Sins.

Philippians 2:12(KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

This phrase of scripture if not well understood can make one think there are works or efforts to keep your salvation...so let's examine what Paul meant when he said "work out"
Firstly we have to understand that the believer is saved and salvation is of God 👇👇👇
Ephesians 2:8-9(KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

So we are SAVED!!
When he speaks of "working out" he speaks of manifesting what is already on your inside that is why he says "work out" for you can not work out what's not on inside!
So the working out speaks not of efforts but acknowledgement of what's already on your inside....and this is a function of KNOWLEDGE. That's why Paul's prayer for Philemon 👇👇👇
Philemon 1:6
[6][And I pray] that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His glory].

So the working out is by KNOWLEDGE!!!
Then Paul seals in on the following verse that as the believer gives himself fully to acknowledge all that's in him God by His Spirit ushers him to enjoy these benefits👇👇
Philippians 2:13(KJV) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Our faith walk will be effective to the degree which we understand the doctrine of SALVATION.

God's destiny for all man is to be IN CHRIST!!Once you're IN CHRIST you've arrived.
