Announcements : 26th March 2023
1. We welcome everyone who has joined us for our time of worship in our different societies , We give thanks to God who has been faithful to carry us through from the last Sunday until now, we pray and hope you being here, will be a blessing to you and to us.
Circuit Theme for this year:
- " Remain in Christ love through, earnest prayer"
-" Hlalani othandweni Luka Nkulunkulu ngokuthandaza ngesineke"
2. We remember and hold in prayer the following sick people, bereaved families:
- Sick People: Name and Surname, Class leader, admitted of sick at home
- Bereaved Families: Name of bereaved person, Class Leader of bereaved
3. We encourage every member to belong in a Class Meeting, those who don't have Class Meetings to contact society stewards so that they may be allocated Class Meetings. We furthermore encourage all class leaders to convene class meetings, schedule times, venues , plans for the class and communicate with their members about Details of their meetings.
4 . We extend a word of sincere gratitude to all members who continue to give sacrificially and generously to the church, they continue to support the work of God, and we encourage everyone to Prayerful consider giving generously to the work of the church.
5. Lent Spiritual Revival Services
As we are observing Lent season until Easter, a time for us to prepare ourselves spiritually for the remembrance of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ death and Resurrection. We invite all Methodist people to our weekly revival services, to be led by the panel of organisations representatives, these services are open to everyone, we will be meeting, every Wednesday 17:30 it will be combined revival services for the cluster. Those who are able to wear their uniforms please do so. Those who are unable due to work and school commitments are more than welcome to attend these revival services.
This Wednesday we will be meeting at Mogoba Society, the following persons are planned: Bawo Maphutse , Mama Mokoena , Sisi. Makabeni & Sr Mantso
7. Society Leaders Meetings:
Please take note and diaries all members of the leaders meeting, these dates, and may we please ensure we become part of these important decision making meetings:
28th March: 18:00 Witbank Society
01st April: 13:00 Tasbet Park Society
8. Palm Sunday Service:
- Combined Palm Sunday Service will be held on the 02nd April, 2023, at Klarinet Community Hall, Extention 6 . Please note Street Revival Service will start at 7:30, at the Gate of the Hall, we are all invited as it will be a time to spread the gospel in that community, let's spread the word and invite people of Klarinet Community to this great Spiritual Revival and Spiritual Upliftment Service. Worship Service will be starting at 9am. We are are all invited.
9. Holy Week and Easter Celebration
- Holy Week Services will be held in our different societies, in the evening of Holy Week.
- Easter weekend, from the 06th - 09th April 2023, will be held at Emalahleni Civic Center, we are all invited to be part of this great Celebration. Please note on Thursday we all wear black for Easter. For Saturday, Children and Youth Rally it will be Cultural Attire. Children and Youth are encouraged to rehearse for the Rally.
- Society stewards to remind Congregations, about the list of Full members , with their Photo's, date of death, name of society, who died since last year Easter till todate. This to be submitted by Society stewards who will forward to Circuit Stewards by the 31st March. May we invite families of the people who will be remembered,to come with candles, for the service Saturday night.
- Easter Program will be sent to Societies on Tuesday 28th March,it will be on soft copy, those societies wishing to print it can do so and individuals wishing to print it can do so.
