Let us pray...
Modimo Rara, Modimo Morwa, Modimo Mowa o o Boitshepo, re fano Modimo yo o galalelang, Modimo yo o lerato, yo o tshwaro, yo o boutlwelobotlhoko, re atamela terone ya gago ka tumelo le ka tshepo. Morataretshela yo o molemo, a lerato la gago le re aparele le mo mosong ono, re tle re gopole le mo maemong ano gore Jeso, o Morena.
Re a go leboga Modimo ka tsotlhe tseo o re direlang tsona. Re go lebogela le tseo re sa di lemogeng ga re le mo menateng kgotsa mo matlhokong. With all that You do for us Dear Lord it becomes more apparent day by day that indeed, there is none like You. Thank You for Your Word that guides and teaches us, that corrects and rebukes us, that lifts us up and comforts us.
Dinako tseo re leng mo go tsona Modimo ga di a iketla. We are unsettled by life daily and we see it more and more that we are living on borrowed time.
What makes all the difference for us who are called by Your name is the assurance that not only are we living on borrowed time, we are living on Your loving Kindness, on Your loving Time. You gave us Your passion and purpose, so that we may *live* and You continue to show us Your favour even in these trying times. What shall we ever render to You for all that You do for us? Let us lift up the cup of Your salvation in the presence of all the living, and present ourselves before Thee as a living sacrifice, to lead a passionate and purposeful life that lives for Your will and not it's own desires.
Let us live a life grateful for Your grace and mercy, that writes over our past with new vision that can only come from You. Let us not forget why it is that you died for us, that You show us who we are in You, that You declare success over us, that You protect us from all danger, that You lead us away from temptation. Let us know that You work things out for our better good, for nothing else but Your Name.
The Name that you never turn from, the Name that heals, that frees, that reigns.
Oh, Loving Kindness, Gracious Master, Merciful God, motho e ne e le eng that You are so mindful of him? That You placed him just below the angels and above all else? Heal us and restore us to Your settings, in all our pain we know that You are Yahweh Elohim, the God who sees. You see our pain and disease, and You see our restored selves. You know the end result, and it is how You fashioned Your creation. We leave it in Your able hands, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ, Amen.
